This property worked out very nicely for us while visiting for a family wedding, with plenty of room to spread out, lots of seating in backyard, and a nice big pool to use in September’s Indian Summer weather. Disappointed in responsiveness of property management when we had no hot water, plus no trash bags supplied and the back screen door was broken and came off in someone’s hands on its first use

When we arrived the lower downstairs area was not cleaned and the screen door was off the tracks. I called and they sent a cleaning crew right away. My husband fixed the screen door. The air conditioners in the two downstairs bedrooms leaked onto the floors, my husband fixed that issue as well. While the outdoor area was beautiful, we think that it should have been cleaned up. Swept or a leaf blower could have been used to remove the acorns. My son swept up quite a bit, so we didn’t get acorn feet. I understand it’s a wooded area and that it can’t be completely cleaned but having it done when we arrived probably would have given us a better impression. The dryer needs to be looked at. Sounds like something with drum The gray bathroom upstairs hot water handle was not working. The rugs should have a grip mat under them to keep them from slipping. The fridge ran more warm than cold and the floor after and ice maker didn’t work. Nit sure if it wasn’t hooked up ir not. All in all it’s a beautiful house in a beautiful location, but not worth the amount that we paid.

Our Stay

Upon check in it was noticed the pool was dirty. I contacted the property manager and they immediately apologized and got to work and had someone come out the next morning to clean and take care of it. By that afternoon we were swimming. In all, the property was nice but we could have used some A/C. That being said it was a great experience and we all had a great time. The home was larger than anticipated and had plenty of room for our group. The property manager did a great job communicating with us and that was much appreciated.

Close walk to town-perfect staffing area for your cape adventure

This rental property is a good be Mike walk in O downtown Falmouth, which is cute and charming. The house features a large number of bedrooms and bathrooms; and the pool is a delight. As with every rental property there are some weird quirks- like there are four bikes available to use. But the bikes are in the backyard, where the gates to get out are locked, leaving you to wheel the bikes through the kitchen. Additionally, it is my understanding that the mattresses are being upgraded- which will be a welcomed change. The kitchen is fully stocked, and it’s great to have a washer and drier available during your beach vacation! Host was very responsive to any needs or questions we had.

Very disappointing

This properties listing is outrageously deceiving. There is nothing in this listing that even comes close to what they describe and I do not believe it has EVER been cleaned. Holes in ceilings, cracks in walls, old window AC units, mold and mildew in lower level (which is unlivable), NO kitchen amenities, NO beach amenities. There is not enough words to describe how bad this is. We left our vacation 3 days early because we could not stand it any longer. I have pictures to prove how deceiving this listing is. Trying to get my money back but so far not too successful. If we have to, we will get our attorney and credit card company involved. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Totally misleading listing

This property was not fit to stay in. We had to make other accommodations for a 2 week vacation. They Completely lied about this home having central A/C ! There were 2 mini window units that were dripping water all over the floor and black mold through out the house. Damaged ceilings from water leaks and extremely loud floor fans throughout the property. Totally overgrown yard covered in poison Ivy and a large variety of old mismatched worn and dirty pool furniture. We literally never even brought our bags in and are having to fight for our refund after never staying a single night. The home owner is lying about the state of the premises and I would not doubt making up any reviews that say anything other than Do Not book this deplorable VRBO listing . This is the absolute truth ! VRBO assured me they would remove the listing but have yet to do so!

Dog friendly

Had a relaxing time in Falmouth. Loved all the room this house had to offer, including the backyard and very large swimming pool. The backyard was a bit overgrown and unfortunately has poison ivy. Wish I paid more attention when I booked it, I thought it was central air. The window units were LOUD and the living room and kitchen were always on the warm side. We were there during a very humid week. Spent a lot of time in the pool, very relaxing, just wish it had been a bit cleaner. House was clean, just a bit dated. How cool that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had their own bathroom! We also loved that it was dog friendly. Location was quiet and peaceful, a short ride to Main St, the beach, even spent a day in Sandwich. Tally was very pleasant to work with.

Great Stay!

We rented this property for a long weekend to attend my nieces wedding in Falmouth. It was fantastic experience from beginning to end. The house is in a great location and was very clean. The highlight of our stay was the huge pool. The fact that this property was dog friendly was what sealed it for us. I would highly recommend and will definitely rent again!
