Guest Access: Guests have access to the whole house and garden.
The Neighborhood: This beautiful house has the best of both worlds: you're located in the heart of Falmouth whilst still enjoying peace and quiet.
Within moments, you could be exploring the local independent shops on Church Street, tucking into fresh seafood at The Shack or strolling along the water's edge. The town's best pubs are all within walking distance too, from the Ferry Boat Inn to the Star & Garter. This colourful town is full of soul, and you will find a brilliant selection of independent shops, cafes and restaurants as well as convenience stores. Some of our favourite eateries include MINE and IndiDog as well as Verdant Seafood Bar and Bodega.
There is so much to explore in the local area too. A ferry from the nearby harbour takes you over to the stunning St Mawes, which is well-known for its superb foodie ties and historic castle. Keep an eye out for dolphins too, who are known to make their appearance alongside the boats.
The coastline between Flushing and Restronguet Passage is a real local's secret, with the stunning Carrick Roads and Restronguet Creek. One of the best walks is from Mylor Bridge, following the coast path to the Pandora Inn - it's one of the prettiest spots for a beer this side of the Tamar. The historic thatched pub sits on the river, with a big jetty filled with picnic tables and a view of people paddling and crabbing in the water.
A short drive from Falmouth is the lesser-known Trebah Gardens, a tropical paradise tucked away against a coastal backdrop. The beautiful 26-acre Cornish valley garden has over four miles of footpaths where you can explore canopies bursting with exotic blooms and vibrant tunnels of colour. Finish your day with a stop off at the fantastic Ferry Boat Inn, which overlooks the Helford Passage and offers superb seafood. Or make a stop at Polgwidden Cove â the private and secluded beach, which backs onto the Helford River. The better-known, and equally stunning, Trelissick Gardens are also only a 25 minute drive.

Getting Around: The house is located in central Falmouth with everything just a stone's throw away. So you won't need a car to explore this wonderful town. To explore further beyond, we'd recommend bringing a car. Free parking is available on the drive for at least 5 vehicles and there is an EV charger on site.
That said, Falmouth does have fantastic transport links to the rest of Cornwall and the UK. Falmouth Town station is just a short walk away, with regular trains running to and from Truro. From here, you can pick up a fast train to London Paddington which passes Exeter St Davids, Bristol and Reading along the way. Or alternatively, head down to Penzance.
Other Things to Note: Please note, the house is located in a residential area so we kindly ask that noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm.
Up to 3 well behaved dogs are welcome on the condition they are not left alone in the property, kept off sofas/beds and any mess in the garden cleaned up after.
Some of the furniture looked tired and the layout of the utility room/bathroom could be better, other than that, great location, lovely large living space great for families
Spacious house with great facilities like EV charging and smart toilet. A really comfortable stay and great location. Easy walk to town centre and beach.
Property very spacious and comfortable with lovely terrace and furniture. Location nice and quiet and in good proximity to shops and waterside bars and restaurants. Ample parking and the EV charger was a helpful addition. Access and communication with owner was easy so a stress free break in lovely Falmouth.
Will's property is absolutely fantastic. We have taken the dogs down to Cornwall each year and all of us said that this year was the best. It is the perfect location - close enough to the beach but also close enough to town (which was great for our 13 year old lab who is a bit slower)! We kept in touch with Will throughout our stay and he was super helpful. I'm sure this won't be our last visit!
