This place was great, very cozy atmosphere. Really like the seclusion. Lots of outside activities close by and the Jacuzzi was a great perk. Certainly would return and would definitely recommend.
I would definitely recommend the Oakland treehouse to anyone who wants a quiet, secluded and romantic getaway for them and their significant other. It was so peaceful and private and there is stream with water flowing right by the porch so when we sat outside we heard the peaceful sounds of water and the hot tub was very relaxing and private. Just what we needed. Thank you for a perfect getaway.
This property is beautiful and very unique. Itâs a super short drive to Fort Necessity and nearby stores. The scenery is incredible and peaceful; neighbors are a good distance away on the property. Definitely take a vehicle that has good ground clearance/4wd. Great experience!
We had a great stay with our two boys. Close to great hiking and fishing at Ohiopyle State Park. The treehouse was very clean with just enough space for the 4 of us!
The tree house is in a beautiful secluded location and close to fun Ohiopyle adventures. There is a pond directly behind the tree house, and the view from inside is only of trees on the outside. The room itself was large enough for our family of 4 for one night, and the hot tub was clean and a definite bonus.
There are a few things though that will keep us from going back; while the room itself was clean, the sheets were certainly not as they had stains and smelled. In addition, the pots/pans and dishes were very dirty and had to be rewashed before they could be used- cleaning someone elses dried macaroni noodle and ketchup was doable but not pleasant. It was almost as if they made the beds, swept the floor and left. Other smaller things- the wifi was spotty- which made the fact that they sent us check-out instructions after we were already there kind of nonsensical, they only had decaf coffee kcups, and the location of the treehouse is not well marked. If you are short on time, its totally fine for a night, just be prepared to do some cleaning up before you enjoy the view.-
I booked this treehouse for partners birthday, just a weekend getaway. It was hard to locate because the GPS didnât know the exact location, but I called the number in my confirmation email and the lady was super helpful, she got us right to it! We enjoyed many trips till the hot tub (it was already on and ready when we got there). There were some bugs in the rental but I understand we were in the woods and it was very cold out. The ponds were cute and the whole natural setting was lovely! It may have been a bit too pricey, but hey, it was an experience. We didnât get to use the fire pit and we were going to cook our meal in the grill, but we forgot our lighter and the rental did not have one. The stove was super tiny but we made it work! The glass shower door is a perk for couples, but it probably wouldâve been weird if you had regular friends tag along with you. Overall, it was a neat experience!
We had one night at the treehouse and loved it however the lights only half worked by the hot tub. We called to ask about it and they said someone would call us back but never heard anything.
Drove in late at night and the address provided is off. Google maps also did have the right location for the address we had anyways so that didn't make it any easier. The address given kinda gets you to the right overall camp community. But leads you to a different treehouse. Just ask the other couple that had the fright of their life to a big dude coming up the stairs at 10 at night and trying to get into the lockbox for the key. The sign for the actual one we rented was not lit up or anything so easily missed at night . We got there the hot tub was warm and ready to go so that was good. Overall the room was tidy, noticed previous guests good in the mini fridge and the silverware was all still dirty. When we finally went to make breakfast the dishes up on the shelf that I had to reach and the pans had a layer of food and what I think was bacon grease on them and was a gross surprise for morning. Cleaning people clearly only checked the linens. Beautiful view and close to stuff but for a small cabin at that price it should at least be clean. It took us a half hour to do the dishes like come on cleaning crew.
Wonderful property. Cabin sits nestled between a creek and a pond. Loved listening to the water while sitting in the hot tub.
Will definitely rent again.
