Comfortable, clean, well-appointed rooms, friendly, helpful staff and excellent - huge - breakfast - and just a short drive from Canterbury, Faversham, Whitstable and Southeast Kent.
Lovely pub hotel near Faversham. Great manager and lovely breakfast. Rooms and hotel very clean. Would recommend if you are looking for a good place to stay for a night or two at a good price in this area
Cozy and historic inn hotel, nicely refurbished rooms with nice bath and shower. Breakfast was very good with excellent quality tea and coffee. Also easy parking and friendly staff… definitely a recommended stay in quiet village near Canterbury and Whitstable.
Lovely over night stay. Welcoming
friendly staff. Rooms comfy although bathroom extractors rather noisy & can be heard from all other nearby rooms every time they’re switched on & off but kind of got used to it.
Amazing Sunday roast when we arrived.
Lovely cooked breakfast in morning.
Really nice pub. Would definitely return.
Charming pub, very welcoming. Lovely rooms, well equipped and very comfortable. Evening food was excellent as was the full English in the morning… would definitely stay again
Fantastic Village bar/restaurant. The food was amazing with plenty of choice to suit.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
Plenty of free parking. Received a warm welcome. Was shown to the room and asked what time I wanted breakfast.
I was immediately impressed with the pub area, and the corridors to the room. It was tastefully decorated whilst still respecting the old features of the building. The room was also well decorated, and spotless. Biscuits and a vast array of very nice tea bags and some coffee bags too.
Only 2 downsides really was no rail to hang clothes, there’s hooks but not ideal. Also soundproofing wasn’t good, I could hear the bathroom sounds of the neighbouring room very clearly. I did find the pillows too soft, but that’s a minor gripe.
Breakfast was delicious, a tad salty but it was clearly high quality so props to the chef. Wish I had eaten dinner there too the night before. So perhaps I shall return to try something else.
Also for future guests reading this, the WiFi password is in the welcome book by the teabags! Would be great if it was on the wooden keying, or somewhere more obvious though.
A fantastic stay and a brilliant evening had in the bar, they even had Elvis in the building! The food was great, the room very comfortable with a lovely bed and the welcome was very warm. Could not fault this place at all. Perfect for a overnight stay.
I really enjoyed my stay in The White Horse, room was very comfortable, exceptionally clean and modern with touch of traditional charm. Restaurant and pub were delightful and food top quality. Really friendly and welcoming staff/owners. Definitely I will return
A delightful part of Kent to stay over, and the White Horse was a nice find. Comfortable, clean and modern, with very traditional country pub undertones. Staff were happy and helpful, and the breakfast options excellent (although my poached eggs were cold for some reason). On arrival the car park is sizeable so there are no concerns there. A little road noise with the window open, but overall I can’t complain at all and would certainly stay again.
Delightful. Staff were excellent the evening meal was delicious and good value Room was clean comfortable and everything worked Breajfast was very good with plenty of choice overall one of my best stays this year Thank you to all the staff
This is probably one of the friendliest pub / hotels I have ever stayed in.
Food is fantastic, rooms are clean and spacious, definitely stay here again
