Set on 10 acres of of oak tree peppered hilltop over looking the the Vineyards of Florence. A well stocked 3 BR 2 BA mobile home with all the amenities . Featuring a master bedroom with a XL custom walk in shower . Spacious comfortable living room, uniquely designed additional 2 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen featuring granite countertops .. BBQ, smoker , fire pit outdoor seating under a giant 400 yr old oak tree.
Enjoy the vibe outdoor visiting our friendly farm animals including; horses , Texas Longhorns, chickens and peacocks and loving farm dog.

Walk to the Vinyard of Florence with tasing room and restaurant. Also close drive to Sun City and the Texas Trooper training facility. Numerous grocery stores and restaurants withiin miles .
45 min from Austin and Waco, 20 min to Kileen (Fort Hood) and Beautiful Georgetown and Salado.

Some of the great attractions in the area are , Inner-space Caverns , historic Georgetown square, trail rides , hike and bike trails , Blue Hole swimming area, Round Rock Express baseball, Lake Georgetown, Chip and Joanne’s Magnolia Farms, Salado antique shopping and much more .

Thursday through Sunday guests we highly recommend Farmers Commons restaurant within walking distance for upscale dining experience. Reservation recommended.

Excellent host, fenced yard for our dog, kitchen was good, we cooked 3 or 4 meals there. My wife was alone with the dog while we were at class, she had a great time with the donkey, horses, longhorns, chickens and all of the other attractions!

Everything was perfect. The only I wish was that I would have booked for a couple more days and had my grandkids with me. Such a peaceful setting, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, very nice furnishings. Everything in yard looks like it should be in a magazine. The owner of the property was as nice as can be.

An experience you will never forget!

I loved the vibes of this place, and the drive to get there is amazing. It’s an experience that has humbled me, a born and raised Texan, regarding the beauty of our state! The property owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I would describe him as a true Texan to his core. This property is a country gem. First let me state that the communication with the Host William (Bill) was on point. I had missed booked the reservation by a day. Reached out to Bill who responded very quickly and I was able to make the change. This place is country living at its greatest. Farm animals (Longhorns, a donkey, chickens, peacocks, horses, and a barn cat named "chicken"), big porch, and a yard swing. Looking for a place to unwind and get away, this is the place. Need anything just ask and Bill will assist if able. Even let me help feed the animals.

Visit from WV

Grandparents recently moved into retirement community in Georgetown. We drove from West Virginia for a visit. The location was great for our family of six. They enjoyed interaction with all the various animals and beautiful surroundings. Grandparents enjoyed visiting with us on the back porch and admired the Longhorns as well as the country setting.And the drive to Georgetown was easy.

Wonderful property and friendliest host!

Bill was an amazing host! There was a slight hiccup in communication the day of arrival but nothing that wasn't quickly remedied. He also was quick to let us know that we had left something vitally important at the house and made it simple for us to retrieve it. My only complaint is that we didn't have longer or better weather to enjoy the stay! We all loved petting the animals but it was too cold for me! We will definitely stay again.

Feels like home

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and again we were sad to leave. It literally feels like home (but with a better climate!) There is not a bad comment to be made, everything from cleanliness to hospitality, it has it all. I highly highly recommend!!

More fun than we imagined, just the best!

Our small group of friends meets each year at a different VRBO location, usually in Texas. Our stay at Country Chimes was by far our favorite rental out of 15 years of meet ups. The website photos really don’t do it justice. The property owner was a fantastic host and so personable and attentive but also careful not to be intrusive. Communication was great, house amenities were very comfortable and the ambiance of having his ranch livestock including chickens, peacocks, retired race horses and Texas longhorns as well as his two sweet dogs all available and in close proximity to the house was an unforgettable experience. The area around the town of Florence was quaint and serene and included picturesque vineyards and wide open land for cattle ranches. Kudos to Bill for being such a creative and respectful host and allowing us to hang out on his property to enjoy a peaceful and memorable retreat.

Taste of Texas

Looking for a taste of Texas? Stop looking and book here NOW! All the space and amenities you could ask for. Great communication with Bill the host started before we even arrived. Pull up and watch your jaw drop. REAL Texas Longhorns, beautiful horses, gorgeous peacocks, free range chickens and a friendly lil cat with a meow you could probably hear from the road, to begin a great stay. The interior of the home was welcoming with it's decor and provided a comfortable stay. There is so much to offer with the property, we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it all. Quick access from the Highway and close to town for any goods you may need. Bill was overly gracious with our entire group. I highly recommend booking this property. I just hope it won't be at the same time as us because WE WILL be back!! Thank you again Bill for everything.

Peaceful weekend retreat with friends

We had such a beautiful weekend. Bill was one of the best hosts I have had with a booking like this. He was so friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. The property itself is wonderful and relaxing. We spent our nights on the porch listening to the wind chimes, chatting, and playing cards. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. The animals were a huge plus. Now I can say I have seen a peacock!

We had a wonderful stay, there aren't enough superlatives

I highly recommend this property! Country Chime ranch house could easily be a "destination" in itself. We were there for the eclipse but we would have been happy just hanging out at the house for our whole visit. The rural setting was relaxing, the animals were entertaining (seriously, even the steers were interesting to watch as they grazed), and the house was comfortable, clean, and impeccably maintained. The A/C kept the house at a cool, comfortable temperature. The host provided a basket of snacks (we treated ourselves to some microwave popcorn), some commonly-forgotten items in the bathroom (Band-aids, mouthwash, a brand-new-in-package toothbrush, and much more), and some coffee in the kitchen for the drip coffeemaker. He even left delicious fresh eggs from the resident chickens in the fridge for us. I met Bill briefly one morning as he was doing chores for the animals and we had a really nice conversation. Oh, and since I mentioned the rural setting, I'll also mention that you might worry about not having access to food or groceries, but the nearby tiny town of Florence had a great little coffee shop, grocery store, and even a donut shop - so you don't *have* to eat all your meals at the house, although you'll probably want to. It was really hard to leave. Sitting on the deck with the friendly cat, listening to the tinkling of the chimes, and rocking in one of the chairs while feeling the spring breeze was the pinnacle of the trip - well, except for the eclipse.

Awesome stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bill’s property! We were in town for a wedding at the vineyard. House was clean and nicely decorated! All amenities were provided! Plenty of linens provided too! The farm animals were the special added touch we didn’t know we needed! We will have to come back again as we didn’t spend enough time enjoying it! Thanks Bill!
