Romantic, 5 Star Experience! Beyond Expectation!

Pros: We loved all of it. We wished we hadn't booked more time here. The gardens are amazing. The building is beautiful, and the history is wonderful.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: The Abbey is close to dozens of old Chateaus and Castles to explore and surrounded by woods, gardens, small villages offering local crafts, food etc.
We stayed at 12 different hotels during our trip to Europe including the Waldorf Astoria - but this was by far, the best experience we have ever had. And it is not just a stay, it is a total experience! The service is impeccable! The facility is meticulously maintained and stunningly beautiful. It is what staying a night in Heaven might be like. There is a beautiful view out of any window (which you can open up to hear the sparrows singing in the morning). The abbey is open 247 to guests. You can tour the abbey at night which is amazing. There is a tiny village offering additional dining options but their in-house dining is top notch. Breakfast is awesome. Terrific value!
