The room was nothing like in the pics I saw when booking. Smelt really old, although the sheets and towels looked clean, the walls, floor and toilet and seat seat were really grubby. I felt like I was in an ex housing commision flat. There was paint peeling off windows, curtains were old and thread bare, the toilet needs cleanong and there was hair on the bathroom floor on arrival. Doors, door handles and walls were grubby. Did have good tvs and was spacious though. On arrival there was no one in reception, we had to drive to a hotel near by to pick the key up. We did try to call reception on the way to the hotel as we were gping to arrive only 15 mi utes prior to close, but nobody answered.

We chose this place on a recommendation from a friend. Firstly, you have to visit the pub around the corner to collect your room key as they have bought the property. They shared directions to parking and location of the room. Our room did not look anything like the above picture. In fact, room 20 is so unique that it has a back door and a front door. The place is a bit tired and on inspecting the cupboards, I found a dress hanging up from a previous resident which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the property. Make sure that you take your own soap as none is provided. Water pressure was good and warm. It was convenient to the main street and a block away from the beach. Good for one night but not much else.

Clean room, bathroom needs work and shower floor was very dirty/stained. You can tell that they’re working on doing up an older style motel. Location was great and perfect for what we needed.

A very comfortable size room for a family. Great bathroom. Great pressure in shower. Laundry was a bonus. Bed super comfortable and clean. Soooo much room. With a bit of paint and a small reno, it would be 10/10. But I will definitely be staying here again and would recommend.

Curtains were awful, barely covered the window & full of holes & threadbare. Doona was dirty, didn’t look like it had been washed in a while. Shower based stained & grout looked grotty. Chairs were dirty & stained. Room looked nothing like the photo.

Outdated property cleaning wasn’t very good and they just laid fertiliser it smells bad especially while swimming in the pool area should of laid the fertiliser off peak season
