The Chapel Room features a plush queen bed and a storied past, perfect for heritage lovers and coastal explorers. Once the most sought-after room in the building, it hosted wives of Union Lumber Company executives and mothers welcoming new life. Today it blends history with modern comforts, including an updated bathroom, in-room coffee, and windows with peeks of the Mendocino coast and views of Main Street - creating a peaceful space for rest and renewal.

This second-floor room is accessible by stairs only, as the property’s historic character does not include elevator access. Please note: this is a pet-friendly room.

This is a cute hotel with charm. It is currently being remodeled we did not hear any noise. They have done a great job blending its history as a Hospital now turned hotel. It is only a few blocks from the skunk train and glass beach. There are numeras restaurants nearby. Try the mushroom Ice cream at Cowlicks and the fish and chips at Sea Pal cove restaurant.
