not happy at that hotel

in room 5....The good: Nice welcoming at reception while arrival, very clean room, good bed and linen, newly furnished and painted, ceramic floor, nice and hot shower, pretty well maintained propriety. The bad: Windows does not open, very very noisy a/c who at least covered the noise of the a/c of the upstairs room and the fridge....and fortunately almost the upstairs tenants coming in at 3 in the morning, again ceramic floor there two! with no intention to go to sleep soon. We could hear neighbours talk on the phone in their room, peoples chatting and smoking under the porch at your door, so entertaining. Except the room itself, very friendly smokers, astray everywhere outside. Doors difficults to lock and unlock making even more noise over that. Radio music around the little pool, so nice to read your book with traffic info and publicities at 4 pm.... Very bad wi-fi reception over 20 feet from office, almost none in the room. Plastic disposable and styrofoam cup in the kitchenette and hasn’t been replace after been use on day 1, no hook to suspends your clothes and at least the wet towel after shower. If the guy at the desk who was there when I left had stop his phone chatting, I could have tell him how not glad I was…. lost enough of my time and money already there, I left before he gave me some attention.

It was a great price for a great location. The bathroom smelled damp, and the door and doorknob to our room seemed ready to fall apart - would not have been comfortable staying there if it weren't for the gate at the entrance as well. It was fine, but not great.

We loved everything about this property. It was quaint and quiet. The walk to the beach takes 3 minutes. Loved Loved Loved the courtyard, so tropical. We will absolutely be staying there again!!!!

Location or not, not worth the price.

Gerardo was very nice but the other guy not so much. You are literally paying for location only. Place is kept relatively clean but not well maintained. My wife had to stuff Kleenex in the gaping holes around bathroom window frame. Bed was only so so with paper thin blanket. Room was very humid and AC could not remove it. Room info says “kitchenette”. NOT. It’s a mini fridge with a microwave sitting on top, and a coffee pot on top of that, taking up space of what very little space you had. I used coffee pot to just get hot water because I prefer a specific coffee. The water came out brown and chunks of sediment. :-(

A decent place close to the beach.

Our stay was fine. The location was great and the staff were good at getting us some stuff that was missing in our room. We had called ahead to let them know that we would be arriving via cruise ship earlier than check-in time. They had our room ready by 12:30 - much appreciated! Our kitchenette was very tiny but had everything we needed. We were also able to use a bbq on the roof patio of the sister property. They had beach chairs and towels - also appreciated. The property is quite tired / dated and could use some tlc (new cushions on the lounge chairs in particular). The paint was peeling in our shower walls and there was no plug for our little kitchen sink. The property has many lovely places to relax (if you don’t mind the tired cushions) and two pools. It is very quiet.

Charmigt hotell med en "Beach house-känsla". Hotellområdet har mkt växter och tillgång till grill, man känner sig välkommen. Hotellet är annars slitet men rent och hotellrummet var fräscht. Bra läge i Fort Lauderdale och nära stranden.

Realidade bem diferente da expectativa

Apesar do lugar ser um pouco antigo, poderia ser melhor conservado que ficaria legal, as fotos não representam como está atualmente. Limpeza deixa bastantes a desejar e a piscina estava interditada. Ponto forte é a localização que é muito boa.

From the moment I walked in I loved it. It’s quaint n personal. Felt as if I were staying at a friends summer home. The cushions on the pool lounge chairs needed some cleaning to make everything perfect. The staff was wonderful. Unfortunately there is construction going on down the block so it could get noisy during the day.

Great Location!

Hotel located in a quiet block close to the beach. Hotel is quaint and comfortable. Needs a little TLC. We found the AC window unit plugged to an extention cord! That is an electrical fire waiting to happen! Along with the TV and dvd player. We stayed in a junior suite with a kitchen. Place is a little run down and we found two dead roaches under the sink in the bathroom. It is florida and we expect iguanas and bugs, but it shouldnt be inside the hotel room. The room felt more like an old house as opposed to a hotel loacation is great though. Place just needs to be cleaned better and the electrical issue with plugs be fixed. Staff is pretty friendly and helpful too.

Decent for the price, some concessions to be expec

Very friendly hotel staff. A couple of cleanliness issues. There was sand in our sheets before we ever got in the beds. Ghost ants on the night stand. No curtain in the shower when we arrived, but that was quickly remedied. Shower head super short. I'm 5'6" and had to duck to wash hair. Pools were nice and well kept.

Cute place for the price.

We enjoyed our stay overall and even stayed an extra night. The staff was caring, attentive and friendly! The pool was refreshing with nice tropical plants surrounding it. The pool has adequate seating in and out of the sun as well. The property was charming and had an old Florida vibe. I would recommend staying here for that and it's proximity to restaurants and the beach. The only complaint is that the room could have been cleaner.
