I have booked numerous VRBOs, and have always selected properties that have been rated 5-star across the board. This property fell short of the 5-star rating due to numerous issues, all which could easily be corrected except for the problems we experienced with the A/C.
I have never stayed at a property that did not have dishwashing liquid, detergent for the dishwasher, dish towels, and something to scrub dishes with. Although Alex, the property manager did bring by the detergent for the dishwasher, he asked us to go to the nearby Dollar Store for the other items, and although he said he would reimburse us, he did not. Two of the four chaise lounge chairs by the pool are broken - to the point where you cannot use them. There was no lighter on hand for the grill, so we bought one of those too. And the biggest thing was that the A/C went out and we were uncomfortable for longer than we needed to be since Alex was not prompt at getting it fixed in a timely manner. I understand that things happen outside of your control, but I don't feel that anything was done to make up for the situation. The house was very clean and really is in a good location, but unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I have had with a VRBO,
