Great location near the Boardwalk

Olga's place was clean and comfortable, and very close to the beach and boardwalk. We could see the beach from the front patio! The kitchen had all the basics, and everything was in good condition. Having two apartments with a shared porch was perfect for shared vacation with relatives.

Perfect Beach House

We got 2 little apartments that seriously had everything we needed from a full kitchen to a super comfortable bed (nice pillows!) a couple flat screen T.V.'s, family room, small bath but warm water, great wi-fi, comfortable window a/c units, plenty of bath and beach towels and extra bedding. The couch turns into a bed and there is a rollaway extra bed in closet. The home is at the end/edge of the South side of the Hollywood Beach boardwalk and sits in a more quiet area. The sand is ultra fine and white and soft and the water is that blue, aqua, carribean color. Beach access is 50 steps from the front door of these apartments and you have a small view of the ocean from the outside shared terrace. We sat on it many late evenings. Lots of palm trees everywhere. The waves are perfect for boogie boarding (which there are beach/camp chairs, cooler, toys, boogie boards, etc. in lockers in the courtyard behind the apartments). There's also a little basketball hoop there and you can access the courtyard through a backdoor in the bedrooms. One of our favorite early morning/night time activities was living that "porch life". We kind of felt like we were on the movie "FRIDAY" and just chilled on the porch watching passerbys and listening to the waves. The location is exactly 1 mile from the center of all Hollywood Beach restaurants/bars. Most days we walked to/from except on a few occasions when we were lazy and took a cheap Lyft or Uber. My boyfriend and I rented both beach apartments #2 and #3 and for us it was so perfect as we shared the porch, set the keyless lock to the same combo and then had a little extra privacy from our teenagers who took the other apartment. I ran the boardwalk 5-6 miles every morning out and back and the morning sun and ocean breeze felt amazing. Miami South Beach is only 30 minutes away so we rented a Tesla for the day and made the easy trip to experience that SOBE life. Olga is the owner and is so personal and kind and easy to work with. You can pay extra for early check in/check out and it's super worth it. The Ft. Lauderdale airport is only 20 minutes away but we do recommend going early on the return as security takes a little while to get through. I'm a Florida girl and have frequented many beaches on both the Atlantic and Gulf and this is now one of my very favorite Florida beaches as it was a new adventure/experience for me. Thanks, Olga for an amazing stay. I want to return....like....tomorrow! :)
