Will stay again.

Friendly staff, great location, simple hotel. Kitchenette is a bonus for avoiding restaurants all the time. Pay attention to the check in! The office closes at 6:30 pm and you can’t get in after that. Overall would recommend if you want a simple clean room with fantastic access to Hollywood beach and the boardwalk

The Caroline is old and we heard it was purchased by a new owner and going to be tore down and redone. With that being said the gals in the office were the sweetest. As for the room. . it poured rain and we had a leak in the ceiling. They did offer us to move however, the tv did not work in the other room so we stayed. The place is old and we are ok with that however, it should have had upkeeps until sold. The shower had something by the drain where they had fixed it and it cut my foot. Love this area however, disappointed in the room and not being kept up. Again, the gals were amazing in the office and it is close to everything or you can get a Lyft or Uber for cheap.

Not so “Sweet Caroline”

The Caroline is a filthy and very disturbing place. The only thing clean about this place is the bedding. There is no privacy, all the windows have white sheer curtains without blinds or shades. Light from parking structure will enter at night time. The A/C was dripping all over the floor. The floors have never been scrubbed, they use the same mop without changing the water. Mold in the shower. Mold on the shower liner. Furniture is completely deteriorating.

its was a horror property. we checked in from our flight had to return and only noticed tv not working clothes left on the chair . no toilet paper in the bathroom ,one bath towel and the office close .and i got to mention paying $25 per night for parking and next door their was parking for half the price. i had to pay batties for the remote and toilet paper$10 the following morning the only had a smile and moved us to another room ,asked about the money i spent and she would have to ask her boss. the worse hotel i ever stayed in and i saw guest that night waiting to check in but didnt not know that the office would be closed . i am surprised that EXPEDIA would have this hotel on its site!

The staff was super conventions with helping us find a forgotten item and we had no idea what a happening place Hollywood beach was. This place is super close and convenient. Amenities are dated but the staff and location makes it easy to overlook this. Really enjoyed our stay!

Bathroom was dirty, tv didn’t work, super noisy, very cold even with AC off. Lights didn’t work neither, just one at the “kitchen” area. The front desk only work until certain hour. When I left, they had two citations hanging from the front desk door for having several things not safe or incomplete in front of room #5. Will not recommend if you plan to stay in your room and not touristing.

Roach infested fraudulent property

This property was a fraud. The photos were nothing like the room. Amenities listed: "On the beach". It was not on the beach - a full block away. There were live roaches running on the floor, paint was peeling off the walls, no kitchenette as in the photos, no sitting area as in the photos. Two other renters were left sitting outside at 9pm trying to check in, but no one is at the front desk after 6pm and they don't answer the phone. STAY AWAY!

Good price, great location, bring some supplies

Stayed in the studio suite for 3 nights. Room was very nice size, bed was comfortable, location was amazing. A few items I noted to the staff and they helped with were new towels and some dish detergent. Some other items needed attention, but I noted that as I was checking out, for future guest. Unit wasn't stocked with salt, pepper, sugar, utensils or paper towels, but I had brought some from home. Staff, both receptionist and cleaning attendant, were very nice and helped as much as they could. I'd advise to stay in the studio suite, not the regular rooms, unless you don't mind a very small room, just for sleeping and watching TV. Property may want to stock up on some items, but my experience there was a good one. I'll stay in the suite again on my next visit to Hollywood.

Caroline needs help

Only one bath towel was on bed, upon our arrival, no detergent or cleaning cloth for dishes, the used sponge was on sink. Stains were on rocking chair and other chair was broken. No tv/internet. I was told the maintenance person was sick.
Microwave on top of stove. How to use stove, and countertop only?
Rust and discoloration in shower.
No towel bar and lack of towels

It was a nice room but everything needed an update. Wall repairs need an update, air conditioner was either to cold or to warm. And the air would be directly in our faces. The light in our room would flicker on and off or just not turn on. Not the best but location was fair.

RUN! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Where do I start?? This is the epitome of stay at your own risk. I cannot stress enough of DO NOT STAY HERE. I would also be confident in saying that any positive reviews were purchased. I could have gotten past some of it, but failing to communicate check-in instructions which nearly left me stranded during the night, “personal hairs” on the sink, and a used bar of soap in the rusted shower was the last straw. I can assure the slum conditions are a choice and this owner only wants the money. The pics are just a few. This place apparently has been kicked off of various platforms which makes me wonder why Hotels.com still allows them to take up space and put customers at risk.

Advise hot eg we were coming in late evening and needed a hair dryer, said no problem will have it there, told us room number too. But when we arrived there was a horrible smell in room and no toilet tissue. Room was filthy! Unable to address problem as no front desk staff until 9 am. Was given a another room, but floors were still filthy.

We were so disgusted to arrive at 6 pm for our reservation and the office is closed and no one answers the phone so we were unable to stay there. This is very poor customer service in a busy beach area that should be more accommodating. We are very disappointed to be out the money for our stay and to have to book elsewhere with little notice and few options. This is a terrible policy and customer service!
