Difficult to say goodbye
February 13-17, 2024. Thank you for this little nook! Sheila and I enjoyed our time here imnensely! Some of the fun things we did during our stay: • Salty Sam’s, dolphin/wildlife adventure Cruise: have money with for drinks. Get there early! Especially if traffic is heavy, they won’t wait! • Kayak with manatees: outflow of warm water from the Tampa, electric power station, go with the expectation that you are kayaking, and MIGHT see a few manatees! • Parasailing off of Fort Myers Beach! $84-$98 per person - Sugarsand, long, sloping beach, vendors along the beach, but they packed up and left by 1:30 PM. • Englewood Beach: Schelling Beach, shorter and sand isn’t as fine. • Murder mystery train ride: a bit on the $$$ side, but you get a four course meal, train ridea and a show. They pair you up if you don’t have enough for a table of four. Get ready to converse and figure the mystery. Enter the train as strangers leave as friends! Good food: Pinchers, Logan’s Roadhouse, good pizza on the beach in Fort Myers
