Modern 2nd story loft apartment in a historic building in Downtown Fort Scott provides an amazing stay for groups anywhere from 6 to 13 guests. Located in the heart of downtown you'll be within 2 blocks of 8 restaurants, a variety shops and several attractions available downtown. This apartment is loaded with amenities that will ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The enormous open living space features a cooks paradise kitchen with commercial range with a griddle and double ovens. The island offers bar seating for 4 and dining table seats 8. The living room area provides an oversized sofa that seats 8 comfortably and 70" TV. Adjacent to the living room is a gameroom with a pool table with ping pong top as well as a dartboard. Flip the ping pong top and pull out the benches from beneath the pool table and it serves as an additional table for 6 - 8 more people.

The bedroom spaces are ideal for extended family bookings or long term stays. Three bedrooms feature private ensuite baths with walk in showers huge walk in closets. The Master Bedroom features a king bed and incredible bathroom huge closet and walk in shower with rain showerhead. The lower bedroom sleeps 4 with queen and full beds. The upper level suite sleeps 7 with a Queen bed, two twin sized hide-a-bed oversized chairs and bunk beds in the adjacent bunk room.

This is a 2nd floor apartment with 23 steps to climb in order to access the space. This well appointed space is well worth the climb.

If you're planning an event or gathering the Empress Event Center is located on the 1st floor below this space. Very nice. Lots of space. Great for a large family or group. Lots of stairs, but we knew that because this is our second time staying. Plan on reserving for next year too.

This was such a cozy and fun space for a weekend getaway. It was nice because different people could have their own space in their own rooms, but there was a nice communal area with plenty of space for board games and a puzzle to be happening all at once, along with ping pong/pool and darts. The kitchen was well equipped for making meals, but it is right downtown so it was fun to also walk to local shops and restaurants. The owners were so kind and responsive and I loved all of the little details they put into decorating the space. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great getaway in Fort Scott.

Best rental in Fort Scott

My only hesitation in leaving such a glowing review is the fear it won’t be available the next time I’m in Fort Scott! This place is absolutely amazing. The host was fantastic, everything was spotless and the location couldn’t be better. I’ll definitely be staying here again ... fingers crossed it’s available! Five stars all the way!

Frostbite trip

We were here for K rock frostbite. Accommodations were amazing. Clean, nice, amazing space. Loved that there was a pool table. My only downside was the check-in process. The instructions of where the keypad was to even get in is not accurate. I wish I knew I needed to call the host to be guided.But they were extremely friendly and guided me quickly to be able to get in. Overall five stars.

Nice and Easy Location for downtown.

Overall Clean place. Was nice had kitchen supplies to use to make food was great and nice to have access to washer and dryer. Only thing could only dry on cool setting couldn't figure out how to make it warmer. Overall would stay here again with my family. Only downfall I can see for anyone is the stairs to get into the place 25 steps up or down everytime you leave. And the steps going up to the top white bedroom with windows. Needs to have a safety hand rail going up and down if went over would have major injuries you'd fall down the steps going to the lower bedroom with two beds the purple colored one. Had to keep and eye out on our little kids to not fall down them. If an older person or injured person you would have a hard time getting in and out of the place. You have steps going up on the porch area also. Easy access to get in with digital pad on entry door with pass code they give you. Overall very nice place.
