Great place

The hotel is in great shape. Breakfast was excellent and loved the covered motorcycle parking. Only negative was a slight odor when entering the room, which I believe came from the bathroom.

There was no information given regarding the cleaning or restocking of the room. We left our room early on the first day for sight-seeing, left a gratuity for the housekeepers. Returned about 3:30 p.m. Nothing had been done to our room, except the dirty towels had been removed, as well as the gratuity! No clean towels or cups, extra coffee, etc. had been placed. When I called and reported it, I was told that they had many people checking out, so they hadn't got to our room. I went to the housekeeper on our floor and requested clean towels, which she gave me. If we had been told that no cleaning service was available, at least we would have known what to expect. The next day, our bed was made, and clean towels were put out. Still no coffee replaced.

Would have rated higher but A/C made annoying noises. No milk for cereal on any of the days we were there. I understand there may not be deliveries on weekends but the grocery store was a mile away. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

Front desk representative was courteous and helpful. The same goes for the staff in the morning in the breakfast area. The inside swimming pool was impeccable! Great temperature on both the pool and the jacuzzi. The only issue we had was the quality of the jets on it. This was a great stop for me and my grandkids coming back from Balmorrhea State Park
