Condo has been updated. Kitchen well appointed. Plenty of plugs and chargers. A sofa cover provided if you have a pet-very nice. Very comfortable Good access to the beach and close to restaurants. The only complaint is the master bed frame has a point that I ran into going to the bathroom at night. The condo allows dogs but the complex is not dog friendly. There is no good place to walk your dog. Management was great to work with. Appreciated the chairs provided on the beach. Would stay again.

Clean, right on the beach. Washer/Dryer was not in unit, not sure where they were, i think it was coin operated. Dogs were not allowed on the grass or the beach(had to walk maybe 200ft from our room which it was clear skys so not bad for us.) there was a dog beach maybe 3ish miles from us so we took our pet there. Had a blast. There was a cute book store down the road. The Book Rack all in all i liked this place. It was cute. And they had complementary umbrella and 2 chairs.

Great place right on the beach

My family and I (4 in total) had a great stay here. The location is perfect to just walk right out to the beach. The AC worked great even in June. I will consider staying here again if I come back to Ft Walton. Host was great the one time I needed to call.

Fun stay

The condo was nice and the owners had quite a few board games and toys available. Having the beach chair service was excellent as we didn’t have so much to drag with us and the distance to the beach was so short. It was great.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely perfect. We had everything we could have needed. The pool was feet from our door. It was never crowded. The beach was a one minute walk from our door. The place was clean and beaitiful. I love the tranquil colors.

Beautiful beach, great location!

Overall really enjoyed our stay at AV! Price and location cannot be beat! There were a couple of issues that were VERY promptly handled by the Sugar Sands staff. They are very responsive and went out of their way to offer solutions for us. Will stay with them again.

It has been changed on the website now but when I originally booked the vacation it stated we had a washer and dryer in our condo. Well I’m sure that’s what was locked behind the doors in the 2nd bathroom. But anyway we had to wash towels often with so many staying and kids. But we made the best of it and had a great time. However, them stating we had a washer and dryer in the condo sold it for me due to having small kids.

black mold, room was in bad shape

Lets just say, whoever does the photos for this unit should get a bonus. The unit is not in great shape, and is like lip stick on a pig in my opinion. We got sick in this unit and emailed vrbo. By the time we got it figured out who to contact, it was already day 3/4 on vacation. The owners closet was filled with black mold. We all started to get sick and cough pretty bad. I am a plumber and started to investigate smelling a musty smell. The water heater in the owners closet was leaking, poor ventilation, and the closet was filled with black mold. I have plenty of pics for proof. The building is under major structural work, they are jack hammering around the pool area and making lots of concrete dust. Which is an issue according to Osha according to silica dust. This should have been disclosed or the unit should have been discounted due to this. We got moved to a much nicer location and property! But we it was a lot of work to do so and already stayed 4 days in the slums. We were with another couple vacationing together, so this made it difficult. Sugar sands was very sorry and moved us quickly once there maintenance team seen the issues of black mold, tub not draining, cabinet doors not closing in the kitchen, jack hammers all day, concrete saw cutting, concrete dust, no washer/dryer that was listed in the unit. That sums its up. The new spot at island princess was beautiful and was what we were expecting to stay at. Steve D

Everything about our trip was wonderful, from the pool to the beach!

My little family LOVED our time at this property. We have had such a hard two years in isolation with three younger kids. This trip was a spontaneous situation and I felt like the luckiest person alive to find this amazing condo so close to such a beautiful beach! We loved it and can’t wait to come back!
