Great vacation spot

Really enjoyed this stay. Master bedroom and bathroom was very spacious and roomy. Upstairs patio was also roomy. The amenities on site were nice but one of the nights the hot tub wasn't working and it wasn't easy to find anyone to fix that so that was a downside on the Destin staff and hopefully they fix that issue. This penthouse was cozy for 4 people but not sure I'd have any more than that.

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and exactly as listed. We loved all the room we had, both inside and outside. Having access to the rooftop was an added bonus. We typically spend most of our days at the beach, so we were nervous about the walk to the beach, but it was not bad at all! We did also enjoy the lazy river quite a few times. We will definitely be back!

Great Location and Views

Destin West is a great location with many good restaurants, shopping and activities near by. It is an easy walk to the beach, and the pool area with the lazy river is a great alternative if you want to keep it closer to the condo. There a great views of the bay from the balcony and the gulf from the rooftop terrace. I would absolutely rent again as the process was easy and its a short 20 min trip from the airport.

We loved the property. Everything was as described. The condo was beautiful, clean, and organized. The location is great. You can walk to restaurants, the pier, and family entertainment. This was our first experience with the Florida Panhandle and it was more than we could have imagined. Destin West Beach & Bay Resort was a great facility - clean, tastefully decorated, amazing view, easy access to pools, short walk to beach, walking distance to restaurants. We’ll be back!

Beautiful place, Great location

We absolutely loved Destin West. The kids had a great time playing in the lazy river and splash garden. The view over the lazy river and bay was gorgeous. We especially loved that we could walk to the boardwalk for dinner and then across the street for some mini golf. So many choices and you don't even have to drive! The owner was a pleasure to work with and the condo was comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back!

Overall we had a great experience. Great room, incredible location. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was being pushed to feel like we had to leave early due to the housekeeper wanting to come before our scheduled departure time.

We've stayed at this resort before and it's a great room. Similar to previous rooms with the exception of stairs to go to the roof. The stairs are nice, but not as impressive as the larger PH with hot tub and all. We didn't stay up there, but that's because we went to my brother's room and went to his roof. So it is nice if you like to look out at night. The bed was great and I complained about the bed from my previous stay at this resort (different room). I wasn't in pain when I slept. They communicated super well and I appreciated everything about them. Really great stay and look forward to coming back.
