Then you will love the beautiful and tranquil setting of this 6th floor condominium decorated in light and soothing beach colors. Enjoy spectacular views from the lofty privacy of the balcony. Watch the boat traffic on the intracoastal waterway by day, fabulous sunsets at dusk, and the glitter of city lights reflected in the water by night. Entertain or just relax in this well furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with easy walking access to the emerald waters and sugar white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The living room and both bedrooms have flat screen TV's.

El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

The management office was amazing - they even contacted me when our unit was available before the scheduled check in time. The unit was very clean and well stocked for a week of relaxation. Although the unit is not on the gulf, the beach was a very short walk. There was a gorgeous view of the bay out the balcony, so the lack of "water front" was barely missed. Thank you for a great family vacation stay.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The location was super close to the beach. We literally just have to walk/drive through the community and we are at the beach. It was also quiet but convenient to a lot of different restaurants. The condo could use some updates, but with that price it’s a good deal.

Our condo at El Matador was exactly as it was pictured and described. Our family of 6 fit perfect. We had never been to Ft. Walton and it did not disappoint. We are used to staying at places that have the beach accessories like chairs and toys as well as things like extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc. Aside from those minor things that overall were not a deal breaker, we look forward to going again. We loved the pool outside of our building and the access to the beach. It was a little slice of paradise. Thankful the owners share their beautiful space.

Perfect for girls getaway

4 women total shared this location. It was just as expected. We didn’t need anything fancy. This fit out needs just right. The kitchen was larger than expected for a place of its size. It was nice and quiet. The pools were nice. No complaints.

Beautiful views of Sunset & Sound

We really enjoyed the location of this unit, away from the beach crowds and beautiful views of the sunsets and inter coastal waterways. The unit could use a few updates with carpet and kitchen countertops, but all in all it was clean. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Facility & Location

Condo was very clean and had everything one would need to stay as long as you wish. Kitchen was well supplied with appliances, cutlery, plates, cups, etc. Plenty of room and within minutes to the beach. Pool was kept very clean and facility offers many amenities. Will definitely stay again!

The views and beach were great. The complex was older but well kept. The 2 pools on site were nice and well maintained. The staff were pleasant. The unit itself could use some updating in the master bath and the dish washer wasn't working well...but who goes on vacation to stay in the room?
