Gulf dunes resort, unit 217 is a 3 bedroom corner unit located on the 3rd floor of one of Okaloosa island's most popular beach resorts. This beachfront vacation rental located just west of Destin is within minutes of harbor walk village, home of the Destin fishing fleet and dockside grills. All of Destin's attractions are within minutes of this ocean-front resort, while the serenity and privacy of an island atmosphere will surround you. The master bedroom offers a king bed, direct access to the adjoining beachfront balcony, and a private master bath with a double vanity, tub, and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third has 2 twins. Each bedroom has direct access to one of the 3 bathrooms. The fully stocked and upgraded kitchen offers everything you will need during your stay.

Gulf dunes resort amenities include a regulation tennis court, private exercise gym, two pools, and one of the largest beach fronts on Okaloosa island. The powder white sands of the emerald coast are found nowhere else along the gulf coast. Beaches are cleaned daily providing the ultimate experience for you and other guests. Everything was perfect for our stay on Okaloosa Island. The condo was great and provided everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here and enjoying Okaloosa Island. We loved swimming in the pool and going to the beach and the location is perfect if you want to run to fort Walton or Destin.

Fall Break

The condo was exactly what we needed and were looking for. It was cozy, clean and in a great location. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need to cook meals in the room. The family room was decorated nicely (modern) and having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms allows you to have the extra space that you need to spread out and have your own area. We absolutely love the beach and it is always nice to have the 2 complimentary beach chairs. (The chair guy is super helpful and friendly) The patio furniture was also nice, clean and modern. The condo is in a great location. You can walk to the pier; a few restaurants and the Publix grocery store is right across the bridge. There were a few minor cosmetic things that needed love in the room. I would say they will be upgraded soon in the off season. This did not affect our stay. Overall, it was a great trip and we are looking forward to returning.

Spring break 2024

The high rise is on the beach with a small dune between the water and building. The walk to the beach is short and the sand is beautiful. Reserved chairs and umbrella was nice and the workers were friendly. Plenty of local restaurants a short drive away or easy walk down the beach. Master bedroom was nice and comfortable. My 3 teen girls shared the other two rooms without too much fighting. It was good to have 3 bathrooms for my family.

Great stay !

Property was exactly as advertised, and the beach was beautiful. The condo was in great shape, and despite some previous negative reviews that I read about cleanliness, the place was very clean and bright. Amenities were great, restaurants and grocery were all within about mile, and Destin is just a short trip away. Definitely will try to stay here again !

Amazing Gulf front condo!

This property exceeded our expectations! The view of the Gulf was amazing and it was nice to sit on the patio to take it all in. Watching the dolphins swim was a highlight for sure! The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. It was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and furniture. The location was perfect as it was in a quieter area than Destin yet just a short drive away if you wanted to head out and explore. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this amazing property!

Everything was absolutely amazing! From the facility, to the location, to the easy access to restaurants, mini golf , shopping ! We walked everywhere we went ! We loved the covered parking space that was available to us with unit number ! Our condo was very spacious, amazing view of ocean ! Super clean , kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed ! Great place to stay!

It was perfect for our family of four on a spring break trip. Beach was wonderful, saw dolphins from the balcony, and a lot to do close by. Complex was very quiet. Dryer broke down during the week, we texted, and it was fixed the same day! Very impressed by response. Only downfall for the property was no hot tub to jump in after swimming in cool Gulf. Minor issue, otherwise a perfect place to stay.

Great beachfront condo!!

Great beachfront condo in Ft. Walton. It has everything we needed for a weeks stay. The master had a balcony that opened to beach side and you could hear the waves at night. Was perfect. There are two beach chairs and umbrella service included in rental. Pools were nice with one being heated. Overall would certainly stay here again!!

Perfect quick getaway

Property is exactly as advertised and met all expectations. The unit was clean, spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Views are great and beach access is close and easy. Close to restaurants and Publix. Only two issues were the wifi(it was very spotty during our entire stay) and the furniture needs to be updated. Overall, great stay and would absolutely book again.

Family Getaway

Lovely property with nice pool, parking and beach access. Unit was sparse with respect to towels (for the number of people the unit accommodates) and not as clean as it should be. Don’t look under the bed or sofa - you will have an allergy attack. Also the master bath shower was covered in mildew that needs bleach, a stiff brush and about 30 minutes of elbow grease. I did contact management about these situations and they offered to send a cleaning crew but really no unit should need basic cleaning service upon checking in.

Only problem we had was the air conditioning going out on Sunday and it was Monday afternoon until the motor was put in. The lady was called on Sunday but could not get anyone out to fix the problem until Monday afternoon. We were compensated for the trouble so that was a nice surprise.

The property itself is amazing and wonderful. Great Location. Plenty of bathrooms and really comfortable. The view is also top notch. The property management is less than accommodating. I will stay here again if it is available next time I'm in the area.
