Hello and welcome to our lovely, colorful condo, Pelican L-01 !

Our peaceful and inviting nautical condominium is perfect for an amazing bay and beach vacation. With a great location on the surreal Emerald Coast, a 700 foot Lazy River, you are sure to come back year after year. This unit is a ground floor unit/lanai where guests can sun or step outside the gate into the lazy river with a gorgeous bay side backdrop. The waterfall pool, gradual entry pool and two large hot tubs provide a variety of activities for water lovers. The patio/sunning decks in this water area provide both shade and sun for people of all ages. Large lounge chairs, tables & chairs, umbrellas are provided for your leisurely days spent by the lazy river. Grills w/ tables are provided in the green areas behind the lazy river. There is also a walkway for strolling alongside the bay and marina. Free beach service is provided when you go to the ocean. A toddler pool, hot tub, and Destin West's largest pool and exercise facility are the additional amenities found on the beach side. You can easily access the beach side by walking the sky bridge from bay to beach, or you can drive to the round-about in front of Destin West Beach Side, unload your family and beach equipment, park your car in the shaded parking deck and walk from there to the beach.

LOCATION:
Our condominium is centrally located between Destin and Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island. We are five miles from Destin and one mile from Fort Walton Beach. You are in the middle of two of the best vacation cities in America. Not only do you have four miles of undeveloped land on one side (free of mass crowds of people), but on the other side you have access to the Gulfarium, beach side restaurants and shops, fishing, water-sports, and more. Take your pick! Either side has the vacation you have been waiting for.

FEATURES:
Not only is our location perfect and our condominium's sunny, but the view is unforgettable. Imagine an oasis of palm trees with cool, turquoise water running like ribbon (the lazy river) around gorgeous tropical landscaping. Lounge on our large porch and overlook sailboats floating by on the inner coastal waterway while watching the kids float by on the lazy river.

BAYSIDE POOLS:
Close your eyes on our private patio and listen to the waterfall hit the water in the additional heated pool and you will think you are in a tropical paradise.,,,,or enjoy the 5000 sq.foot pool, gym, and super large pool at Destin West across the street. We also have internet access for those of you who need to connect for business. With so many features, how could you pass this up?

Our stay at the Pelican condo exceeded all expectations! Our hosts were very communicative and addressed any needs/issues we had. Our location next to the pools and lazy river was amazing, and it’s a short walk to the beach! And having free access to both is worth every penny.

We had a little difficulty checking in with the door code. We made contact with the manager and things were remedied quickly. The place was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the location right on the lazy river and the end unit was nice for quieter lounging on the balcony. We have stayed in Miramar for years
and believe we are shifting are peaceful place to Destin West. The bay, lazy river and location to the beach were excellent for each one of our family members. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Perfect location, clean and definitely family friendly. Had everything in the condo we needed. Cart to take things to the ocean. Loved the easy access to the pools. Loved having the bridge for access to the ocean and reserved seating was perfect. The view to the pool from the condo was beautiful. Host provided all the information needed. Cannot recommend enough. Lots of fun for the kids

We had a great time at this condo. No need to bring your own beach supplies as they had plenty of floaties and beach toys on the back deck. The beach was a really quick walk from the condo just across the bridge. We spent a lot of time in the lazy river as well. We had a blast!

Great location, so clean and well organized. Communication was also great. They really take care of this place and it shows! Only addition that’d be nice is a small gas grill. We come every year and will most definitely check this place out for openings again.

Days leading up to our vacation communication was great, I had any questions I could have come up already answered in a detail email I received prior to check in. Checking in was easy and exactly as described. The unit was absolutely perfect. It was clean and the beds were comfortable! The layout out of the unit worked great for our family of 4. If I could do a 10 start rating, I totally would! From the beginning to end of our trip we were 100% satisfied. Condo was ready by check in and was very clean. Everything was in amazing condition and well kept. If I had a question or issue, Meredith was always available to me. It was my family of 4, and my mom. And my brother and his girlfriend came to join us and we had plenty of room! Will definitely be back!

Anniversary Trip

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 night stay in Pelican L01 bayside. End unit condo had lots of windows and was so easy to walk off the patio to enjoy the lazy river, pool and bay. It was close to the elevator to access the 3rd floor skybridge to cross to the beachside. We enjoyed the umbrella and chairs included during our stay. The condo and property were both beautiful and well maintained. Parking wad easy and always available close to the condo.Meredith was so kind and made everything so easy!

The condo is clean, and well equipped. The double patios are awesome and so convenient to the lazy river. The owner was so wonderful to work with. This is our second year staying at this condo, we love everything about it! We will definitely be back next year!

First Floor Condo Convenience-easy access to pool/lazy river & bay, FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN!!

We were here for our son’s senior spring break trip. The ground floor location of this unit was perfect for group meals and easy refills on beverages by the pool We also used the grassy knoll area to grill out a couple of nights and quickly realized that the unit was equipped with serving utensils and a mini crock pot and cookie sheets and storage containers and mixing bowls and sharp knives and everything we needed as a large group!! We so appreciated it, it made our stay so much easier :) We were also provided with six very nice beach towels to use for the week and this unit came with beach chair reservations on the gulf side of DestinWest, which not all of the units provide. Access to both bayside and gulf side was great!!We also appreciated the quick communication with the property management throughout the process. Very last minute we were able to add another night to our stay and were able to access our condo before check in time, which was FANTASTIC!! We highly recommend it for your vacation. We were three people and were super comfortable for the space. Stay here, you won’t be sorry!!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could!

We came to Okaloosa Island for a family vacation. The condo and its amenities were absolutely perfect. The unit itself was very easy to access and we loved being able to walk from our unit to the pool! The hot tubs, lazy river, and pools were a hit for the whole family! We used the patio, made several dinners in the lovely kitchen and enjoyed strolling around the property, especially the marina. This unit was beyond fabulous and we hope to get back to enjoy it again!
