The staff were all friendly and helpful. The mural wall in our room was coming apart at the seam. All of our towels were stained. We booked a gulf view room thinking we’d have a quiet view, but our room also overlooked a busy “courtyard,” live music, and a bar, so it wasn’t quiet. The room info stated that the store was open 24 hours. We went down at about 7:30 am and it was closed. A sign directed us to the front desk for assistance and they said they didn’t have a key. The food offerings at the onsite restaurant were limited. I was looking forward to seafood and there were only a couple of seafood options, neither of which were of interest to me. The breakfast buffet was hot, fresh, and everything tasted good. Check in was quick and easy. The scent in the lobby and buildings (strong floral—gardenia maybe) can be overwhelming. If you get migraines easily, this may be a trigger.

Not worth it.

Not at all what I expected, especially for the price. The condition of the resort is subpar. The beach view room we had was very cramped, not much counter space, or anywhere to really unpack your clothes and such. The balcony door would not lock, the hvac system is set to not go below 68, and will also turn itself backup to 78 when it doesn’t detect your presence in the room. Not great when you’ve been on the beach all day and expect to come in the room to cool off and relax. Room service never cleaned, only replaced towels. The floors are laminate, so we expected at least to be swept, but had to deal with sand from the first day. I rarely give negative feedback, even when I’m disappointed, but for the amount of money it costs, I expected a LOT more, and definitely a nicer resort.

Got what we paid for. Nice pools, on the ocean, decent room, many activities, lousy Wi-Fi, Stewy’s was a lifesaver for food, otherwise pretty lousy. Not much going on in run down town/area, road to island a mess, kind staff.

My family stayed 2 days at this resort and had a great time! Our king room was big and clean. We were lucky to find a parking near our front door. Restaurants were just a walking distance. Breakfast was good.Staff were great. Highly recommended!
