I've never given a poor review in years of travels, but this experience was a first. We were SO disappointed with this rental. Wow! First, the condo was absolutely nothing like the photos shown - something was altered. All of the furniture and appliances were extremely dated (and dirty). We felt like we were staying at the Ropers' condo on Three's Company. The beds were old and super uncomfortable; the living room rug was filthy, and furniture was dirty with cushions that slid as you tried to watch TV. (TVs were decent - one plus) The kitchen peninsula was nice, but the sink was gross and unfinished around the lip, trapping junk. The larger appliances were ancient, smaller ones just gross. There were loose/broken ceramic tiles in the hallway that moved under foot. The biggest disappointment of all was the balcony - photos shown were much more spacious and this was ANYTHING BUT that! 4 bar chairs, one tiny table that was not bar height crammed into a space the size of a bad closet. Someone had to sit down in order for another to pass to go back inside. We had to sit in a row to watch the beach as there was no way to sit at a table and enjoy each others faces during conversation. The photos were all just very deceiving. In short, this place was an advertising lie! Thank goodness we love FWB/Destin so much that nothing could ruin a trip. The beaches are the best, food is phenomenal, shopping great, entertainment everywhere. Better investigation next time!!
