Immerse yourself in the charm of our 104 year old, historic, 1,600 sq.ft. home in Fairmount Historic District featuring 3 cozy bedrooms, 2 baths, with a Study/bed, and over a century of stories. It is a peaceful haven near vibrant dining and entertainment on Magnolia Ave. Just a mile from TCU's Medical School and less than 2 miles from downtown Fort Worth, our home offers the perfect blend of serene living and convenient access to the city's treasures. Ideal for those eager to explore and enjoy a rich, local experience.

Quiet, comfortable, private, and fully appointed, my home is used only for my short, mid to long term rental guests, and includes all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway, productive work trip, or anything in between. I lovingly restored this 101-year-old house from the studs up a few years ago. In its past history it was a duplex, a SFH, a storage area for a nearby home supply shop, to what I redesigned into a comfortable 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms home. It was rented out for a few years before I decided to give furnished rentals a try as a host since I had had great experiences being a guest in similar spaces myself while traveling all over the world.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and the Study with a bed, this home can comfortably sleep 7 in beds with room for additional guests if needed. The home includes one master bedroom suite with a queen bed and full bath as well as two guest rooms that share an additional full bath. Master Bedroom has a Queen-sized bed with provision for a floor twin-sized spring mattress, or Air bed - available upon request. Guest room #2 has a twin bed with an additional twin-sized mattress available upon request. Guest room #3 has a Queen-sized bed. Bedroom#3 has been newly carpeted, while the other 2 bedrooms have original-to the-house hardwood floors. There is provision for a twin bed in the Study which is not to be slept in unless agreed upon prior to the booking.

It is the perfect location to spend a weekend away, visiting museums, attending a TCU event, or just visiting Fort Worth!

Weird and not clean

This property is arranged very odd with an office promoted as a bedroom. The bathrooms were less than clean and furnishings were sub par.

The location is good and walking distance to the Magnolia Street area. But this “cozy” older house needs some TLC. The windows are all taped shut. The shower in the master bath didn’t work. The towel rack in the second bathroom kept falling down rendering it useless. In the second and only operating shower, the older spray head was clogged and the water pressure was very low giving a less that satisfying shower experience. When we arrived the outside front door entry was messy and full of cobwebs and the yard was overgrown. A gardner did come during our visit but started late at night and worked until after 11 pm including use of a power mower. The house was musty upon arrival and the host responded to our concerns and did send over a second dehumidifier which helped. The coffee amenities and provisions were nice and appreciated.
