Polruan

This was a nice property to stay with great sea view. The hill to the village is strenuous especially with small children. Village inconvenience store very disappointing . Used Spar at Pelynt. Looe beach preferred because of parking and access .

August 2022 summer holiday

We had a wonderful time in Polruan. The house is very well laid out, very generous space for the four of us. It’s quite far up the hill from the river and ferry, but aside from the climb up the steep hill, very located and we had a fantastic holiday.

Nice property, needed a good clean

The house was nice. Unusual layout but the cleanliness was disappointing particularly as we had to wait until 6pm to enter the house for "Extra COVID cleaning". Lots of dust, pots and pans were dirty on the shelves and lots of dirt on the wetroom floor. In fairness its a difficult property to clean with lots of nooks and crannies but it was a disappointing start. Very comfy beds and a lovely terrace. Polruan is a pretty village and the nearby Lantic Beach was lovely.

Spacious, comfortable house in a fabulous location.

We had a wonderful half term week at Cormorants. The house is warm, spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed as a family of 6. There were wonderful walks within striking distance of the house, within stunning scenery in every direction. The village of Polruan is picturesque with a regular foot ferry service to Fowey, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. All in all a great place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cormorants and look forward to returning again one day.
