I called to advise them of late arrival and they helped make arrangements to check-in after hours. There is a great view of the mountains from the parking area, and it is walking distance to cafes. Furnishings were stylish and modern and looked recently updated. Its goregeous inside. Linens were soft, nice pillows. They definitely seem to be trying to give you a touch of a premium at a budget price. I definately felt like a great bargain and was a pleasant surprise.

Location is great. I was a little upset because my description on Expedia said that I would have a microwave, but the room did not. It also said that breakfast was available for purchase. I was told that the descriptions are not necessarily correct in Expedia-they haven't offered breakfast for years, etc. There was a microwave in the laundry room for general use, but it would have been nice to have one in the room, which I specifically look for. The room also had a weird smell (like someone had smoked, but it was not strong) which I didn't notice once I was in the room for awhile. Bathroom was really nice!

This place is perfect for a one night stay in Fox Glacier. The lady at the front desk is helpful and friendly. The room is a bit compact but has everything you need. All clean and comfortable. Good value and great location.

This motel locates on main road and very convenient to sigthseeing locations, such as Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier viewpoint. Person at reception desk offers very detail tourist, dining and shopping information.
