Friendly staff, very well-equipped kitchen and good communal facilities. My only complaint is that the en-suite sink was so small, and with a poorly positioned shelf above, that there wasn’t enough room to brush my teeth or wash my hands!

Room was tight but comfortable. We came in late after an all-day excursion. They gave us to muffins and a delicious lentil veggie stew, which was all we needed before turning in. The clean, busy dining area and kitchen were well equipped with a great coffee machine that made delicios hot java!

Spent just one night after a full day tour from Christchurch. Staff at check-in were lovely and helpful. While we didn't get to spend a lot of time in the room it served its purpose. Although it was on the small size it was clean, quiet, and had a great bed. Only complaint was that the bathroom sink was too small. But we liked that the hotel offered its guests complementary (good) coffee, muffins, and a public space with a microwave, toaster, TV, computer, games, and a popcorn machine. It's walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store, which is always a plus for us.

Lovely welcome by the staff (with a complimentary blueberry muffin each), really nice room with a very comfy bed, the hot tub and common room were both great. Perfect location for exploring the glaciers!

A nicely appointed large room with tiny bathroom. We were on the third floor and no lift, (I wasn't aware this was the case at the time of booking). However the view from the window was impressive. The hotel had a convenient laundry service which we used.

Above and beyond service and friendliness. Our host was exceptional at check in, providing a complimentary fresh warmed blueberry muffin for each traveler. Rooms were warm, clean & comfortable. Common area spacious, friendly, very well equipped, with complementary coffee, vegetable soup (home made!), popcorn. Full kitchen. Also a gym and spa available. Our departure from the region was delayed, and we were allowed access to the common area after check out by the very generous host. HIGHLY recommended.

Chill, relax and munch

This should be the best accommodation i stayed in NZ over the past 3 weeks. Decors are great, they provide muffin, veg soup, coffee bean machines and even popcorn. Netflix on tv to keep me entertained while having my meal and a hot tub to relax after many days of continuous walks and hiking.
