Hill Country Retreat

I spent Christmas weekend here with my mother and it was our best Christmas in quite some time. We had all the comforts of home but we were in a beautiful setting in the countryside. In the mornings, my mother loved looking out the window at the deer in the woods. The beds were very comfortable "nests" and the kitchen was well stocked - the owners even had fresh milk in the refrigerator! On Christmas morning, Mike (I think that was his name) came by with homemade banana bread for us. We will definitely be back!

City Girl went to the hill country

Clean, no loud noises like if we were at a hotel. Comfortable. A little drive into town but worth it.
