The house was even more than we were expecting! So much room for 6 ladies enjoying a girls trip. We were able to walk to all the shops on main st in 10 minutes or less. We didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen looked well equipped. There was a regular coffee pot we used ( no Keurig in case you are thinking of bringing your own K cups). You don’t need coffee filters ( it has reusable one). There were even a few basic staples in the pantry such as coffee, salt/pepper, artificial sweeteners and more. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the games in the garage! There’s even portable heater/ fans if you need them. You do have to park in a gravel type alley behind the house off of Elk st ( there is a small sign to look for in case you are looking for the place to park at night). The host was informative for getting checked in etc. I would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house is located right in the middle of everything making it easy to walk to shopping and the WWIi museum. The neighborhood is very quaint and quiet. All of the rooms were very comfortable with terrific beds! The decor is lovely throughout. We loved the use of the games in the garage but it was hot, even at night, despite a fan and small air conditioner. It was August in Texas!

Best in Fred!

Hands down the best place we've ever stayed in Fredericksburg! Layout is group friendly, while bedrooms and 3 baths offer great privacy. Lots of outdoor space to hangout and we enjoyed the gas fire pit. Super great location to all the fun stuff on Main Street. House was stocked with everything you could need - including cool amenities like ice maker, extra fridge and a big mirror in the oversized main closet. Hope to stay here again!

Abendstern was amazing

Our 3 night stay with sister/brother-in-law and friends was fantastic. Location was very close to main street with all the fun activities. House had everything we needed for a great get a way. Inside was well arranged where everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Enjoyed the multiple games in the garage that was very comfortable.

Awesome property!

The house was awesome! There were 6 of us adults and we had more than enough room. All of the rooms were large and spacious. It was in mint condition when we arrived. The garage was fun with the ping pong tables, foosball and shuffleboard. Loved the gas firepit in the back yard. Great location just 2 blocks from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Also just 2 blocks from the World War II Pacific war museum which is a must see. One of the nicest VRBO's we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend.

Fredericksburg Fun

Abendstern is an amazing property with tons of amenities! The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-appointed, and the house has lots of extras. The area was quiet and relaxing. You can easily walk from the house to Main Street for shopping, wine tastings, and meals. We have stayed in many short-term rentals across country and this is one of the BEST! We would definitely recommend Abendstern and will return!

Perfect Place to Stay

This place is the perfect spot for a weekend in Fredericksburg! The house looks just like the photos and is kept in perfect condition. The hosts do a wonderful job of having the little things you may forget or need, and easy access getting in. The game room and outdoor spaces give plenty of options for hanging out at the house. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable! It’s an easy walk to Main street and after a long day of shopping or wineries, this house is one you want to come home to for the night. We left with all seven people knowing exactly where we want to stay next time we come back.

enjoyed our time in this rental. It is nicely equipped and extremely clean. We were three couples and the 3 king beds were nice. Would be nice for families as well. Walkable to Main Street and all it has to offer. Multiple outside sitting areas were lovely. Overall, a very fun weekend!

Wonderful time with friends

The property both inside and out was excellent and close to downtown. The home was very clean and well appointed. It was the perfect place to visit with friends and then explore Fredericksburg.
