LOCATION - 12 miles west of Fredericksburg
HOSTS - Your host lives on the property, but you have the home all to yourselves. Your host's home is approximately 500 feet away from the guesthouse
SLEEPS - 4 persons; Queen bedroom upstairs & 2 twins downstairs
BATH - 2 bathrooms; one upstairs and one downstairs, both are full baths w/ a tub/shower combo
KITCHEN - Fully-equipped kitchen except for a dishwasher
BREAKFAST - No Breakfast; coffee and teas are left
AMENITIES - 48” flat screen TV in living room, covered wrap around porch with rockers to enjoy hill country views, propane grill, picnic table, acreage to roam along designated walking areas of the ranch

Breathtaking relaxed scenery.

Any time I had questions about anything, they were responded to in a timely manner. The place is very cozy, clean, comfortable, homey, and located just right from downtown Fredericksburg.

Beautiful views, wonderful breeze, beautiful night sky So refreshing to sit outside in the mornings and evenings in a hot Texas summer. The beds were comfortable. Everything was great. Would definitely go back.

Perfect for a couples getaway

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Great view of the stars so far enough from the city but close enough to go enjoy all the wineries and downtown. Just wish we could have stayed longer. Will be going back here

House in the hill

peaceful retreat

If you are looking to get away from it all yet be 15 minutes from Fredericksburg, here is your spot. Cozy cabin with wrap around porch to look over the bucolic scenery complete with cows and deer. Note: The master bedroom is upstairs and it is on older cabin, so you need to be careful getting up and down as the treads are very narrow and steep.

Quaint Country Haus

Enjoyed our stay immensely and loved sitting out on the porch watching the deer. The amenities were great as we ate dinner there in the evenings. Loved the location away from the city, however the service fees were expensive for two retired individuals.

A quick Spring Break Trip

Our hosts had every amenitiy out for our use, not that the town was far. It was nice and quiet. We are Cajuns and love to listen to the livestock and sit around a fire. We will be back again because the location was wonderful, the HOME was immaculate, and again the HOME felt just like.

A great place to catch your breath and take in the views

This property is an excellent way to take in rural Texas while enjoying some isolation. The owners make excellent hosts, and this is by far the most attentive hosts I have had the pleasure of using while in the area. Can't recommend this site enough.

The B-E-S-T getaway for a piece of tranquility and relaxation!

The cottage house was very charming and super clean. We enjoyed drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows or coffee each night while the fire lit in the fireplace. The owners were friendly and helpful. Overall, It exceeded all of our expectations. We plan in returning back for sure!

Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I stayed as an anniversary getaway. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of wine chilled and waiting for us. The cottage was charming and welcoming. At night we would sit on the patio and watched the deer as they sniffed around. I have seen deer hundreds of times, but just the atmosphere and the wildlife was enchanting. The property was well kept and charming. I enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sun come up every morning. The owners respected our privacy and responded to emails quickly. Definitely keeping this property on the radar for future trips to the hill country.
