The Space:

Originally relocated from the tiny town of Luckenbach in the 1950s & now located within 1 mile distance to the West Side Main Street, this charming, comfortable Fredericksburg Farmhouse, affectionately known as ‘the Bunk Haus’, is the perfect blend of modern touches, historical charm, and convenient location.



Versatility is key at this adorable craftsman style bungalow, with plenty of sleeping spaces throughout, for kids & extra friends, including a comfy Queen bed as the primary, a bunkroom sleeping porch with an extra twin bed, and an easy-up queen sleeper sofa in the spacious living room. An additional half bath adjacent in the living area provides extra functionality & convenience for all guests.



The shady back deck, large dog friendly lawn, & great outdoor entertainment space make The Bunk Haus a truly inviting “home away from home” for Fredericksburg relaxation and entertainment. An open concept layout & high ceilings give a spacious feeling to the living spaces of this home, which include a farmhouse table, bench seating, & a dining bar with eat in kitchen, perfect for shared meals and social gatherings.



A fully equipped kitchen will make your stay effortless, with stainless steel appliances & plenty of room, ensuring convenience and functionality for any culinary endeavors during your stay. This property is fully stocked, with drip coffee maker, coffee, filters, spices, oils, foils, wine glasses, etc, which perfectly adds to the effortless enjoyment & convenience of your trip
 everything has been considered, with the goal of being the absolute favorite choice in Fredericksburg for return guests & first time adventurers. Pet fees & rules:

We're delighted to welcome furry friends! This property is pet-friendly for dogs, unfortunately we can't accommodate cats at this time.

-Pet fee(s) of $75+tax will apply in addition to the nightly rate.

-Please check the weight limit and max number allowed for this unit.

-Please keep your pups leashed outside and clean up after them with the supplies provided.

- Pets MAY NOT be left loose indoors while guests are away, and a large kennel has been provided on site for guest use.

-A separate pet waiver must be signed.

-Any and all damages or issues caused by your pet to a unit or furnishing will be immediately charged to your credit card on file.



Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. 10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.

The location was excellent. House was very nice. Some of the items in the kitchen had been used by prior folks and put away uncleaned. The real down side was all of the stickle burrs in the backyard. Considering it's pet friendly that's a real negative since our dog likes to wander the yard.

Loved this cute little house close to downtown Fredericksburg. Ubering is a must I will say! Walking will take you about 20 minutes minimum. And the wineries are a good 10-15 minutes out driving! This small town is amazing and all of the Uber drivers are super nice! We didn’t get to experience the back yard amenities a lot because the yard itself is full of little tree stickies that attached to our fur babies.. 10 out of 10 on house and location! Loved the shower and kitchen!

Great spot for family traveling with a dog

Enjoyed the spot for our quick getaway to Fredericksburg. Close enough to the Main Street action but far enough to be away from the traffic. Huge back yard, our dog loved it. Only thing that was not the best was the bed. Not super comfortable, but we travelled with our 4 month old, so couldn’t have slept in if we wanted to.

Nice home with great yard

Had a nice yard for large dogs but my small dog could get out under gate area. Back yard was set up with great entertaining area. Our stay was too short to use but would make a great place to hang out. Nice home. Was clean and felt safe.
