This was the perfect quiet getaway. Our dogs loved the fenced-in yard, and the jacuzzi tub was perfect after a day of hiking nearby at Enchanted Rock.

Spectacular!

Fantastic getaway. Just what we needed. Perfectly located just outside of Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the cottage and it was nicely equipped inside and included a small fenced yard for our dogs. Bill was a pleasure to work with. We will return!

Relaxing and Quiet

The property a short drive from Main Street but secluded enouf to have a very qiet and relaxing time. The host peovided detailed instructions and we felt very welcomed. The property was clean and safe. It trully had a country feeling with cows, and turkeys not far away. We even saw a couple deer. We needed to checkout late due to inclement weather and the host was very acommodating. We will definetly go back.

A perfect getaway!

This was one of my favorite stays in Fredericksburg And I cannot wait to go back! The cabin was clean, roomy, peaceful. I loved the outside living space the best! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!

This lovely Cottage, beautifully located on a fifty acre Ranch, is a perfect blend of old-style Texas tradition and modern amenities. It just "felt" comfortable the moment we walked in, and it truly was. A feeling that was wonderfully reinforced when we saw, what to us, were the three other, most important, things we need in any accommodation: it was spotlessly clean, very tidy and it had a huge, extremely comfortable bed. Superbly located in open fields, only 9 miles "away from the madding crowd" in Fredricksburg, it was our oasis of calm relaxation. Sitting outside on the deck, watching the sun go down, with the cattle quietly grazing in the distance, provided the perfect ending to a wonderful day strolling among the wildflowers. Our cockapoo puppy, "Millie", just loved it. She said it had everything she could want (even her own Water Bowl), and she could walk freely around the fenced yard, or even run around in the field outside (provided Dad would walk with her and keep her safe). Finally, we must thank the owner, Bill, who is a truly marvelous host! He is totally unobtrusive, yet there in a flash if you need help, questions answered or difficulties addressed. He is kind, considerate and friendly. A true Texas gentleman!

Country Cabin

It was a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, quiet, very accurate in the description, close to town, Pulling in, the cows were there by the cabin and it was a peaceful feeling. There was a bottle of wine and 2 glasses on the counter which was very nice. I hope to be able to stay there again when we go back to Fredericksburg. Thank you very much for the relaxing getaway.

We have stayed at this cabin before. Is so quiet. Clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. The deer are a plus. My husband enjoys watching them come to feeder. We went to the hilltop cafe right down the road for Sunday brunch hour. So nice

I've stayed here 3 times now and wish I could buy the place. The cabin is a wonderful getaway, so well-maintained and cozy. I think of it as a home away from home. Bill is an excellent host and an all-around top-notch guy. I think this property is the nicest rental I've ever stayed at!

Hunters paradise

This was one of the best Vrbo stays we have had and we have rented quite a few. My husband loves to hunt and watching the deer in the morning and afternoon made his trip. Was a quiet relaxing experience for me. Cabin was very clean. Well stocked. We extended our stay from 2 days to 5. Ready to return.
