The Space:
Bedroom:
Unwind in a king-sized bed with luxury linens, complete with French doors opening to the private courtyard for seamless indoor-outdoor living. A flat-screen Roku TV makes it easy to relax with a favorite show after a day of exploring.

Bathroom:
Refresh in the walk-in shower or soak in the jetted tub, both stocked with spa-inspired amenities: plush towels, robes, a hair dryer, and high-quality Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Kitchenette:
Designed for convenience with a mini-fridge, microwave, sink, and complimentary Hill Country–roasted coffee. A dining table offers the perfect spot for breakfast or an evening glass of wine.

Living Area:
Gather around the gas fireplace in the vaulted living room, complete with a Roku TV, stylish sofa, and curated art. A rustic ladder leads to a loft queen bed, available upon request for extra guests.

Courtyard:
Step outside to your private courtyard retreat with a hot tub, outdoor shower, fire pit (bring your own wood), and seating areas for dining or evening drinks. The covered patio includes a bistro table and outdoor TV for al fresco relaxation.

Front Porch:
Enjoy rocking chairs and a swing on the shaded front porch, the perfect place to start your morning or wind down your evening.

Guest Access:
You’ll have the entire Barn and private courtyard to yourself. This includes the king bedroom with French doors, walk-in shower and jetted tub bathroom, kitchenette, living area with vaulted ceilings and fireplace, and the outdoor retreat with hot tub, fire pit, outdoor shower, and TV.

For parking, there is free parallel streetside parking directly in front of the property, just steps from the Barn’s front door — making arrival simple and stress-free.

The Neighborhood:
The Barn is set on what was once an 1880s homestead, offering a quiet Hill Country escape just one mile from Fredericksburg’s historic Main Street. Guests love being close to the action — wineries, restaurants, and boutique shops — while still enjoying the privacy of their own retreat. A short stroll out back leads to open fields and peaceful sunset views.

Getting Around:
Parking is easy with free parallel streetside parking at the front of the property, steps from the Barn. For exploring the area, you’ll have access to Post Oak Driving Co., our in-house service specializing in private wine tours and driving experiences. As a Porch Light guest, you’ll enjoy priority booking and exclusive discounted rates for safe, luxury rides to Fredericksburg’s wineries, restaurants, and attractions.

-Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM
-Pets welcome with approval — $50 per night fee (request after booking).
-Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM to respect the property and neighborhood.
-No smoking or vaping inside The Barn or anywhere on the property.
-Add-ons available by request: firewood bundles, charcuterie boards, flowers + chocolates, early check-in, and late check-out.

The Barn is part of The Gathering, a boutique property with five other units.
