Everyone enjoys a beautiful view but it's not often that you are able to experience one from your front porch or backyard. Well, at Lookout Hill Cottage, you can!

Located just four miles from Luckenbach and fourteen from downtown Fredericksburg, this home is ideal for anyone looking to experience all of the Hill Country's great attractions and then come home to peace and tranquility. The master bedroom includes a wonderful king bed while the second bedroom features a terrific queen. A beautiful full bathroom with a clawfoot tub and handheld shower wand is conveniently located in the hallway between each bedroom. A delightful full kitchen is perfect for creating delicious dinners or just a savory cup of coffee in the morning. Outside, two covered porches are pleasant places to enjoy your surroundings.

*As long as they are 15 years of age or older, children are allowed at the house.

*Due to the steepness of the driveway, motorcycles are not allowed at the property.

Please Note: You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee no pests or bugs will be visible.

This was our 3rd time staying here. We love it! The host left us a special bottle of sparkling wine with a personal note, along with other goodies. Since we visited during February, there was heart decor around the house. One of the best places to stay in Fredericksburg!

We have been visiting Fredericksburg for over 30 years and have stayed in many homes. The Lookout Hill Cottage is now my favorite! It has such a warm and cozy vibe and the hosts have thought of everything. They provided a gift basket with wine, chips and salsa, etc. and every sink was outfitted with Fredericksburg Farms hand soap and lotion in different scents. The view is absolutely incredible!! I honestly did not want to leave.

Amazing!

The cutest little cottage! Loved the welcome basket and all of the personal touches. Everything is absolutely beautiful! Enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning with a beautiful sunrise while a few young deer came and visited. Only downfall was the tub. Very low water pressure which made it a little difficult to bathe and wash hair. Other than that, it was outstanding!

Outstanding View

This property is the reason we love the hill country. We come to Fredericksburg often and always in search of property with a view. We have found it. This will be our rental from now on. We love the location, out of town from all the people. But close enough for quick drive to stores. Clean and just perfect size. A little awkward with no shower but I can see why. All the amenities you need. Lovely snack basket and bottle of wine.

Cozy home, Superb View

My husband and I, along with our son and his wife spent three days in Lookout Hill Cottage, and enjoyed our time immensely. The cottage has a knockout view of the hills and everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location was convenient to all the things one wants to do in the area. We highly recommend this house!

Lovely Escape

Even Better than Expected!

The property was so charming with absolutely breathtaking views. We woke and sipped coffee to 12 deer just out the back window. They set out the cutest little gift basket. Even with storms and gloomy weather, our stay was so serene. The minute we got there we were really shocked that it was even nicer than we expected! Highly recommend!

Perfect little place

We really had a great time. The house has all of the things you will need for the weekend. The driveway is very steep so when it is wet, you will slip. My truck is all wheel drive and we had a hard time if we slowed down too much. We saw wildlife and it was so neat.

Lookout Hill Cottage is simply perfect. Have been traveling for 30 years and I've not seen a better presentation. Of course it is just a small cottage on a hill top, but every detail was special. Lookout Hill Cottage becomes the event. You simply don't want to leave.

What a view

The house is well decorated and has all the items you need to enjoy a wonderful stay as a couple. The view and seclusion is the reason to stay at the house on the hill. We never turned on the TV as we spent all our time outside enjoying the view and the stars at night.

Very beautiful and peaceful place

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here from the moment we drove up in the driveway. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Sitting on the porch relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet while looking out at the incredible views was awesome. The extra touch of leaving chips and salsa to the chocolate dipped strawberries was a very thoughtful touch. Will definitely come back! Thank you Steve & Randye for our great stay!

Amazing views in the country

If you’re looking to get away this is the perfect property! I cannot say enough great things about the home- the views were amazing and the owner had the home fully stocked with whatever amenities you would need. It’s about 15 min from downtown Fredericksburg but worth the drive. We enjoyed going to a winery or two, buying some bottles and enjoying drinks on the back porch with the amazing view!! The home was very clean and we were left a very nice gift basket with some local goods and a bottle of wine - a very nice touch to make us feel more welcome in the home! We will definitely try to book this home again next time we come to fredericksburg! We didn’t get to take advantage of the proximity to luckenbach (5 min down the road!) so we have that on our list!

Lookout Hideaway was marvelous!

What a wonderful respite! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the view, the wildlife and the charming home. We were greeted with wine, chips and salsa and dark chocolate-what more could one ask for. Perfect Hill Country Getaway!

Property has stunning views and is perfectly appointed for comfort and relaxation. Location was convenient to many Hill Country sites. We've stayed at a lot of rentals, and this felt more like a home than a rental property. We will be back!!
