Perfect sunsets!
We have stayed at this complex previously and the location... for us is great. Fredricksted has the cruise ship pier which you can snorkel and dive when the ships aren't in port. It is far and away the best snorkeling in the Caribbean.. and Hawaii for that matter. There are approximately 50 pier support columns that are absolutely covered from just below the water to the ocean floor. Amazing variety, color, fish, turtles, sting rays barracuda's and much more. The condo is not in an area like Christiansted. Not a lot of resorts, no boardwalk and not nearly as many shops and restaurants. But there are some good ones and we like being away from that. It's not a long drive to christiansted so you can also enjoy that area easily. The condo is as advertised and had everything we needed to enjoy out trip. Janice, the owner was very engaged and her representative on the island was prompt and wonderful to deal with. The only issue was we couldn't get the protective storm type windows on the large screened in lanai closed but the screens slid open and closed well if you didn't try to hurry. We were very happy with our accomodations.

Beautiful condo with amazing shoreline snorkeling
The condo was large and spacious and beautiful. We spent a week here and the snorkeling literally on the beach in front of the property was some of the best we had ever seen. So much coral and rock formation. We saw so many fish, stingray and turtles in front of the unit. The check in process was wonderful and the manager Althea was very responsive and her daughter who let us in was so kind and personable. We loved having access to laundry to clean clothes before we left. The breezes through the condo were wonderful. I don’t have a single complaint about the unit or experience. My only feedback would be to travelers wanting to be near Fredriksted, it was somewhat challenging to find restaurants that were open or open past 7pm. We thought it may be the time we visited but it was similar even on days the cruise ships were there. And some of the restaurants we did visit mentioned we shouldn’t walk around there at night. We shopped and cooked a few nights and watched the sunset from the condo. Gorgeous!

Late May Stay
The property was clean and walking out the gate to the beach was an added plus. Snorkeling was awesome! We saw lots of fish we had never seen before, turtles, stingray (was not near condo), and lobster. The views from the balcony were great. There definitely was an island breeze all of the time, but late May is a little more humid so getting dressed in a bathroom without a/c was a little bothersome. Since the bedroom is the only area with a/c some may not find this appealing. We managed okay but any later in the summer may not be the same and I suspect the temperatures will probably rise as summer continues. Just my opinion. The only other item was the bed was not as firm as I would have expected. I'm a short person (5'1") and had a very hard time getting in the bed but found a step stool to help. LOL The overall stay was good. Very nice property and quiet. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves most of the time.

Perfect Location for our 30th Anniversary
We rented the "Turtle-Y Amazing unit and it was definitely AMAZING! The rental manager, Althea, was super nice! She met us at the unit to show us around the property and let us in. The unit was just as pictured and extremely clean. The unit is rather spacious for a 1-bdrm and tastefully decorated. The sofa is comfy and perfect for an afternoon nap. The bed is firm (which we love) and we slept like babies. The AC was cold and my husband would turn it off when he woke up early and the room stayed cool while I slept in for a few more hours. Bdrm Bonuses: Room darkening curtains (sun rises early here) and a beverage fridge! The view from the Master & balcony is gorgeous. The balcony has plenty of furniture to sit and enjoy the cool breeze and watch the sea life and snorkelers swim by. We enjoyed our coffee and breakfast on the balcony every morning. The bathroom/shower is large and has plenty of room for 2 people to shower/get ready. Although the main living area is not air-conditioned, we were VERY comfortable. We left the windows & sliders open so between the breeze & ceiling fans we were cool. The owner has thought of everything so if you think of something you "need" check the closets and cabinets and you will probably find it. The complex grounds are beautiful, quiet & we had the pool mostly to ourselves. The beach directly in front is rocky but there's a sandy area to enter the water just a few steps beyond the northern property line. We definitely recommend this unit!

St Croix vacation
We have been coming to st croix for the last 20 years and this place to stay definitely did not disappoint us. Except for a coffee maker that didn’t work ,it was a great stay. We can’t wait to return. Can’t say enough how good it was.

A true vacation
This was our first visit to St. Croix, and we hope to come back someday. Everything about our stay was even better than we had imagined. Our condo was well-equipped with everything we could need, was right on the beach, and the check-in and out process was smooth. The property manager met us upon arrival, showed us the property and amenities, and answered our questions. We didn't really need to use air conditioning because of the eastern breeze that blows this time of year. It was just wonderful having a spacious balcony that was open to the ocean breeze and sounds. We weren't able to rent a car, as none were available that week and we hadn't thought to reserve one ahead of time, but we were able to get everything we needed by walking to Frederiksted, about a mile away, and we used local taxi drivers to get over to Christiansted for a day. It felt safe to walk at night between Frederiksted and our condo, and the security system with locking gates helped, too. The snorkeling is wonderful wherever you go, from right outside the condo building to right next to the pier in town, but there's also Sandy Point Beach just on the other side of the condo--we basically had that beach to ourselves most days. It's closed during certain months for turtle migration, but we were lucky in December. The only discomfort we dealt with was some noise--due to being the week of Carnival, on several nights there was not just music, but a thudding bassline sound that made sleep a little difficult. It seemed to be coming from across the bay where the festivities were held. Noise-canceling earbuds, along with some recorded white noise, helped quite a bit. We went to the festivities and enjoyed checking out the food vendors and the traditional music and dancers in their historical attire. We also enjoyed several restaurants, our favorite being Uma's Kitchen where we had some delicious Carribean vegan cuisine. It was really a perfect vacation.

Beautiful Location Slightly Off the Beaten Path
This is my first time in St. Croix, so this review will be best suited for newbies like me! Property: As pictured, except MORE picturesque - especially from the gallery. Coffee/breakfast while watching the sky turn cotton candy colored to turquoise blue is astounding. Comfortable king size bed, plenty of room for a couple to enjoy each other's company but still have individual space. The A/C in the bedroom is also helpful on humid nights. The rest of the condo has ceiling fans and with windows open on both sides of the condo (east/west) - the breeze kept it pretty cool. There is a nice size on-site pool, extra beach chairs in the laundry room to borrow and tons of beach towels. Just bring your sunscreen and beachwear and BUG SPRAY - and you're good to go! Safety: Didn't have any concerns about safety as the property is enclosed with a gate and the property is 1.5KM from the town of Frederiksted - a quick drive or 15 min. walk. Communication: Very easy. Janice and Althea were extremely accommodating when we had a flight snafu. They were so easy to work with and very generous with their time. Area: Definitely rent a car so you can explore the island. Directly in front of the condo is small footprint of beach with mainly rocky area great for snorkeling. We enjoyed Rainbow Beach and Sandy Pointe Beach, but our fave was Cane Bay Beach - about 20 min. drive north. Bring water shoes! I was surprised with closing hours of stores and restaurants. Keep that in mind when plotting out your day, as most restaurants and retailers close by 8 or 9pm. I was given the recommendation to drink bottled water and use tap for cooking, cleaning, etc. The island filtration system doesn't have the best reputation and each property, hotel, restaurant may or may not have an individual cistern which they control the upkeep on. Suggestion: This is fairly minor as Janice and Althea, as well as property manager Bob, was extremely responsive to any questions we had - but I have been at other rentals with information binders as a refresher to email/text/in-person communication. An info binder with codes, wifi passwords, remote control instructions, check-out procedures, etc. would be helpful for someone so distracted by the sheer beauty of the location!! A couple of nights there - they were heavy rains and we enjoyed staying in and watching TV. There was a bit of a guessing game on how to access cable TV - but we were able to use the Roku streaming apps instead!
