Home Truths:
- There is no air conditioning.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- The fireplace is not available for guest use.
- The communal pool is seasonal and is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty.
- Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules.
- Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance.

Parking Details:
- There is one designated parking spot (Marker #6) for this condo.
- There is additional parking available on a first come first served basis by the pool.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Great Mutiny Bay Condo

I dinged the rating for some functional issues, the tub is an oval soaker upstairs is awkward to enter and exit, and I made the mgmt. company aware. The skillets are tired and some of the dishes weren't too clean. Hopefully a trip to Costco will fix that. Great location with door side parking. Pantry was well stocked with essentials and it's a short trip to Payless Grocery in Freeland. We'll be back.

Nice and quiet

Our stay was great. Easy access to sites on the island. Very easy check in and out. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only 2 things that i would say negative. Kitchen is very small. Especially if u have a large group of people staying. And a strong odor of animal (cat) urine outside of front door and rear door. No smell inside. And it was only at our building. I think the odor issue can be resolved very easily. I would recommend and stay there again in future trip back to Seattle

Labor Day Weekend

There are definitely positives and negatives with this property. The positives: The view is beautiful. Absolutely no complaints there. The location is great as it is peaceful and there are miles of beach to walk and play. The beds were very comfortable as well as the family room furniture. They had ample dishes supplied as well as paper supplies. The negatives: While we were fully aware there was not air conditioning in the home, we figured we should have a great breeze from opening windows. Unfortunately on the main level the big windows do not open. The breeze can only come from the back door and the front door which was a bit difficult with a toddler who can reach the door handles. The ceiling fan would have been a great addition, but the remote looks like it came from the dark ages and did not work. Just a few simple upgrades would make this place amazing. The smart TV (a 2009 model) was not so smart. The coffee maker could use a refresh as well. It is a small condo, but we all ended up enjoying our stay and made the best of a few uncomfortable issues.

Beautiful Location and Nice Pool

Stayed with some friends and two tweens. The place was very clean and communication was easy. Nice location right on one of the best island beaches. We saw seals and sea birds everywhere and could walk for ages. The bathrooms and kitchen are outdated, but everything worked and was super clean. Beds and furniture were comfortable with new linens, new recliners and a new floor. Worked as a great home base for island activities! Owners/managers provided all necessary amenities for a comfortable visit.
