Beautiful & fun location

The location is amazing with the beach under the property and the ocean just steps away. Lots of surfers and boats to watch and pretty sunrises. The house was clean and perfect for four. Property owner was very responsive and helpful.

Lovely getaway right on the water

This adorable house is literally right on the water. We enjoyed every bit of our stay, watching the waves, the pelicans, the ships, walking the beach... The house is comfortable and clean, and the host was kind and communicative. Would love to come back again.

We came down here for my 50th birthday and me and my wife’s 10 year anniversary. It’s is beyond beautiful here, you just get lost in the gulf. The view is one of the best I have ever seen in my fifty years. I literally felt like I am so privileged to be able to stay here. The air b and b is a nice and warm and comfy. We had a slight issue with the front door, I think it has seen its last days. Steve was able to get someone out to fix it on a Sunday. He said he is going to replace the door, so it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone else. We are so grateful the hosts is willing to share this oasis with everyone. I am already planing in my head how we can make it back. Thank you so much! It was exactly what we needed. Brian

We would stay again.

My husband and I loved our stay. The location was perfect, the house was clean, and there were no bugs. But the best part was it did not have the musty beach house smell. We take a trip just the two of us every year, usually to Florida but we would love to stay here again. It was beautiful.

Great family beach vacation

This property was recently renovated, very comfortable for our family of four, and RIGHT on the beach. The owners were very communicative and relaxed about details. The shower was not completely clean (residue on the floor of the shower -- I wore flip flops), and there were ants (the owner warned us). Otherwise, the place was impeccably clean. It had everything we needed for simple meals and Netflix access! Would definitely come back - these hosts were fantastic.

Home was in a good location, right at the water. Pros: good location, price was nice, host communication, check in was easy. Cons: mildew on curtains throughout home, rust throughout interior and exterior, floors felt soft in spots/not stable also got a splinter d/t chips in wood flooring, neighbors were obnoxiously loud (not the host fault), random people walking under the house nonstop and brushing up against my car (scratches left on the side of my car) and fighting so loud under the house it woke us up. We only stayed 1 of our 2 nights reserved due to my son’s allergies flaring up due to the mildew/mold throughout the home that we weren’t aware of before booking. When mentioning it to the host, they advised it was due to “salt-air conditions” which yes, you’re close to the water but there shouldn’t be mold/mildew in the home and expect people who rent to be ok with that. And we weren’t offered a discount or anything, not even compassion that this home affected my son. We just received a “thank you for bringing those concerns to our attention”. I would not stay at this location again. This is just an honest opinion, my opinion.

Not a great stay

I have been staying in beach houses on Surfside beach for many years. This year we had all our tents/chairs stolen overnight. Also, no working toilet for 3 of our 7 days there. It just wasn't very good this year.

Nice little house right on the beach

We love this house and have stayed multiple times. It's perfect for a small family. It's right on the beach and steps from the water. This does mean during the busy times of the week/year there is a lot of foot traffic under the house, which isn't horrible. We never had to really set up anything on the beach, we would run down enjoy the beach/gulf and then go back to the house. This works for us as a small family with young children who really only want to down to the beach in about 30 minute intervals. The house was clean and nicely equipped. We will stay again for sure!

Great House

Pros: you cannot get more beachfront than this! Cute, perfect for two adults and two teens! Adorable remodeled home with window units in each room. Location is great, no cars allowed on the beach. Everything we needed to make meals at the house. A small plumbing issue, but the owner was so quick to respond!! Best customer service for sure. Con: you are THE house that everyone parks by and walks under and in front of. Because it provides shade, people camp right up to it and underneath. They also used the trash can and blocked the driveway, but we were in for the night, so we didn’t make an issue of it. During the week, it wasn’t nearly as busy, and it wasn’t so much an issue. But the weekend days, be prepared. Overall, will rent here again!!

This was an amazing location - you aren't going to get any closer to the water than this. The house is sparkling clean and the beach is quiet, peaceful, and sparsely populated. Fun to watch the ships go in and out as well. Host was wonderful with communication and answered all questions we had, took care of everything. We loved it and had a great time. Best place I've stayed in the Surfside area.
