Ideally located just 10 minutes from the town of Friday Harbor and also only 10 minutes from Roche Harbor Resort, and only a short 10 minute walk from picturesque Egg Lake. Peaceful, fun, beautiful. Loved the heated stone floor in the bathroom. The sleeping situation in the living room was below par...an air mattress without blankets that fit. Had to call host to locate it. The in house instructions didnt include some needed information. But the host was responsive and kind. The kitchen and main bedroom were great. The deck peaceful.

This rustic modern retreat has a minimalist feel and is in a secluded wooded area between Friday and Roche Harbor which made it easy to get around and explore the island via car.

A modern style cabin in a secluded spot. Very quiet, spacious, and centrally located. You will need a car, but everything is about 15 minutes away.

Quiet relaxing getaway in ideal location
I really enjoyed this property for its quiet and beauty. It is in a good location in that town is a short drive away but when you are in the apartment it feels like you are in the middle of a forest. Property owner was super easy to communicate with. I loved the modern island esthetic, comfortable bed, heated bathroom floor tiles plus big selection of books and games. A great back balcony for morning coffee. Its the type of place that lowers your blood pressure. Some on and off wifi issues that Adrian worked hard on and got fixed efficiently. This is an island rental so I was not too concerned. Perfect getaway to explore San Juan and surrounding islands for 1 to 2 people. Thank you Adrian!

Meh
San Juan is beautiful, and this property let us enjoy it, so that was great. The place is clean and had most of what we needed as far as amenities are concerned, so that's good too. A few weird things about the place though. It gets full sunshine all day, which is a big problem when it is summer, because there are no shades at all in most of the house, and it gets super hot. There are no screens on the doors, but lots of wasps, etc., so cooling the house down at night is tricky because you can't get a good cross-breeze. There is one fan, but it's super weak. The hot water tank is tiny (one short shower and washing the dishes makes it empty), the shower controls are hidden behind a screen and the cold water tap on the tub doesn't work. There are two shower heads, so you use twice as much water, but there doesn't appear to be any way to turn one off. The bed was nice and firm, but only one side has a table. The wi-fi is really slow. Most of this is nit-picky, but for the price I would expect fewer oddities.

Clean, comfortable, private
This was perfect for a weekend trip to San Juan Island with my husband. It was clean and nicely decorated, had a really comfortable lounge area to watch a movie, had a great kitchen, we loved the double shower head shower and the heated floors and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept the best I had in weeks. It was also a great central location for exploring both the northern part of the island and only 10 min drive to the ferry and Friday Harbor. Not a single complaint here!
