The Space:
Shenandoah Twilight is a cozy two bedroom mountain cabin near Front Royal, Virginia, designed for relaxing Shenandoah Valley getaways. Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend, a small family trip, or a few quiet days away with friends, the cabin offers easy access to wineries, hiking trails, Skyline Drive, and Shenandoah National Park while still feeling peaceful and tucked into the mountains.
The cabin gets its name from one of the best parts of staying here: evenings in the private hot tub as the sky turns gold and the mountains settle into twilight. Located just off the back door, the hot tub is available year-round and offers a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring the valley.
Inside, the layout is open, comfortable, and easy to enjoy. The living room includes cozy seating, an electric fireplace, and a 50" TV for quiet nights in. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-size appliances, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glassware, and small appliances, whether you’re preparing a quick breakfast before a hike or dinner after visiting nearby wineries.
The cabin sleeps up to four guests comfortably, with a king bed in one bedroom and a full bed in the other. The bathroom includes a custom tiled walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer are tucked into the back bedroom closet.
Outside, guests can enjoy the propane grill, outdoor seating, and propane fire table while taking in the quieter pace of the mountains. Start the morning with coffee on the porch, spend the afternoon hiking or wine tasting, then come back for dinner outside and an evening in the hot tub beneath the mountain sky.
Whether you’re visiting from Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Richmond, or simply planning a staycation closer to home, Shenandoah Twilight makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley.
📕 Property Guide • After booking, we'll share our detailed property guide with local recommendations, including our favorite wineries, restaurants, hiking trails, and more. The guide also includes helpful property details and tips to make the most of your stay.
🐕 Pet Policy • Up to 2 dogs are welcome at Shenandoah Twilight, and a per-pet fee applies. Additional dogs may be considered with prior approval. Service animals are always welcome. When possible, we appreciate advance notice so we can help our cleaning team prepare appropriately. For short-term rental stays in Virginia, emotional support animals are treated as pets rather than service animals, so they are subject to the same pet policies and per-pet fees.
🚼 Family-Friendly Amenities • We love hosting families and provide a pack ’n play, high chair, and children’s tableware to make traveling with little ones a bit easier.
🚗 Vehicle Access • The cabin is accessed via entirely paved roads, with the exception of the gravel driveway at the property itself. Standard vehicles can generally access the home without issue during normal conditions, though AWD or 4WD may be recommended or required during snow or icy weather.
🧯 Safety & Cleanliness • All bedding, linens, and towels are professionally laundered between each reservation. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and first aid supplies are provided.
🏡 Privacy • Shenandoah Twilight offers a peaceful mountain setting, though neighboring homes may be visible or nearby. You may occasionally notice neighbors, pets, vehicles on the nearby roads and community. We ask that you help preserve the quiet setting by keeping in mind that voices, music, and other noise can carry, especially when enjoying the hot tub, fire table, or outdoor spaces.
🔒 Security • There is an exterior Ring floodlight camera monitoring the driveway and front stairs. No interior spaces or the hot tub are included. We also use a Minut noise-decibel monitor in the kitchen to help us protect the home and the quiet of the community; it measures sound levels only and does not record audio.
🦌 Wildlife and Surroundings • The cabin is surrounded by nature, and it is common to see deer, birds, squirrels, rabbits, foxes, and the occasional black bear in the area. Please avoid leaving food, trash, or scented items outdoors, as these can attract wildlife. While the home is serviced by a professional pest control company, occasional insects may make their way inside.
🧹 Landscaping & Hot Tub Services • During your stay, our landscaping or hot tub care team may visit the property as needed. We will notify you in advance whenever possible. These visits are brief, exterior only, and do not require access inside the home. The hot tub is available year-round and is professionally maintained.
🌹 Add-on Experiences • We offer a variety of add-on experiences to make your stay feel even more special, including romantic touches, celebration décor, fresh flowers, bubbly, and other thoughtful upgrades.
🏗️ Construction Notice • Please note that there may occasionally be some daytime construction noise between May 1, 2026 and June 15, 2026 due to a nearby home being built. Construction activity is typically limited to normal daytime working hours. We do not expect this to significantly impact most stays, but we want guests to be aware in advance while nearby work is ongoing.
