The windswept dunes with many sheltered hollows, the high sky, the wide white sandy beaches, the extensive coastal forests and vast purple heath carpets with their dark green patches of bushes - all this is a feast for the eyes of every nature lover. Lild Strand is bordered by one of the most beautiful, unspoiled nature areas in Denmark, which can be explored on hiking and biking routes. Also recommended is the nearby limestone slope Bulbjerg, Denmark's only bird cliff or the bird reserve of international importance and Northern Europe's largest of its kind, 'Vejlerne'. If your family is up for fun in an adventure park, Jesperhus Blomsterpark on Mors and Fårup Sommerland near Blokhus can be reached in less than an hour by car.
