My wife and I have just returned from a six week stay and we had a very good holiday. The house is very well equipped. There is a high level of security as the grounds can only be accessed via an electric gate system. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room is huge. Whilst there is a table and chairs outdoors, there is also a dining area within the living room for cooler evenings. The house is a little dark inside with a quirky layout, but has lots of character and is in a peaceful location. A couple of things worth mentioning. Upon arrival we were greeted by a number of very persistent cats who were trying to get into the house. During our first week they continually sat on the outside furnishings and begged for food at the doors. This was a problem for me as I am allergic to pet hairs. However, the problem was solved when I bought a water pistol. A big problem is the number of flies at the property, probably due to the greenery in the garden. Although fly swats and repellent were on hand at the property, we were constantly having to swat them whilst seated outside. It was also impossible to keep them out of the house. The property is quite a bit above sea level and the temperature is noticeably lower than on the coast.We had a couple of problems during our stay but Ana, the owner, was easy to contact annd was very quick to respond and sort the problems outI think that the positives far outweigh the negatives and we enjoyed our stay
