My stay at Living like Hotel Hakataekiminami was okay overall, but several issues affected the experience. On the positive side, the room had plenty of towels, and the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were convenient. The staff was also responsive on chat, which I appreciated — but unfortunately, almost everything I asked about was met with, “No, we do not have that,” or “We do not provide that.” There were a number of cons as well. I had to wait exactly until 3:00 PM to check in; the code wouldn’t work even one minute before, despite the room already being ready. It felt unnecessarily strict and inconvenient. I also requested garbage pickup, but it wasn’t collected the next day as promised. When it was finally taken the following day, there was no replacement garbage bag provided, which made things difficult. It would really help if at least one extra bag were included. Additionally, the room didn’t have chopsticks or any serving utensils, which made cooking meals inside a bit inconvenient. Overall, the stay was manageable, but these small issues added up. With a bit more flexibility and a few basic amenities, the experience could be much better.
