Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this cozy, one bedroom, A-Frame that allows you to enjoy all this area has to offer. Potter County (God's Country) with Cherry Springs State Park ...dark skies program...and Tioga County with the Pa. Gand Canyon; Wellsboro, the Currier and Ives town, that has been voted one of the prettiest small town in the United States, Pine Creek Gorge, plus hundreds of miles of the ATV Pilot Trail that covers both counties. This area was named as the Pennsylvania Wilds by Governor Wolfe and it is absolutely gorgeous.

At the A-Frame, enjoy a picnic lunch on the deck, wander down to beautiful Pine Creek, a high quality, stocked, fishing stream, walk along the creek trail that is mowed. You can fish, enjoy sitting on a bench or your lawn chair, but be sure to watch for a beautiful bald eagle which frequents the creek daily. Watch for deer, bear, as well as the abundant squirrels and chipmunks in the area. Make you own bonfire (firewood provided), and roast a hot dog or marshmallow. Enjoy your time but we really believe you'll love your visit to the Pine Creek A-Frame. Everything is here for a romantic or quiet getaway in this cozy A-Frame.

I used to hunt/fish/hike in this area with my Dad as a child. It's been over 20 years since I've been up this way so my wife and I decided to check out my old stomping grounds. The property is lovely and well maintained. The A Frame is exactly what we expected. Its small but very cozy. The location is great because you are not far from Wellsboro or Galeton if you need supplies. We had a wonderful stay and got to see alot of wildlife which is always a plus. Pine Creek was a bit low but there's so much area to explore that we managed to find a few deeper holes and catch some fish. Overall, a great long weekend in a beautiful spot that we both hope to visit again.

Cons: not as private or secluded as pictures lead you to believe. The owners house is closer to the house than the creek it's supposed to be "overlooking". No coffee for the coffee maker. One-ply toilet paper. Musty smell when we first arrived. Shower is impossible to take a decent standing shower in, luckily we're not overweight. Metal spiral staircase to the mezzanine is carpeted with no slip guards, I slipped and fell going down and cut my back on the edge

Quaint but not what we had in mind.

This A Frame is a little misleading. It seems like you will be closer to creek but it is a quarter mile walk to get to. Also the oweners are on the property about 100 yards away and youre right next to a storage unit. We thought we'd be isolated. Other than that it was a cute small A-Frame. Also pretty huge thing is the shower is terrible if youre over 5 ft tall. You have to hunch over. Major design flaw.

The A-frame was very clean and very quite. Very peaceful place to stay and relax. There was a couple of restaurants that was closed by and had good food. I highly recommend it and we would definitely come back.

Great Grounds

Loved the grounds of this property. The AFrame was so cute, and loved the land with ponds and creek. My geologist husband was excited about all the fossils found in the rocks by the creek. The small downside was the size of the shower as the A Frame design makes it hard to fit comfortably...but we made it work.

Pine Creek Weekend Getaway

This cozy cabin was a great place to stay. It was our home base for exploring hiking trails. The waterfalls and views along the 5 mile hike to Barbour Rock were amazing. We checked out some potential fishing spots for the next time we stay here.

Cozy abode in rural PA. Perfect stay for outdoor enthusiasts in both winter and summer months with lots to do surrounding it. Perfect place to stay if you’re interested in checking out Dickens of a Christmas in Wellsboro! Great attraction to see.
