Fabulous cove and location! Spacious 5 BR/4.5 BA, Outdoor Kitchen & Fire Pit

This spacious, sparkling clean house on Lake Lanier, which we call Happy Ours, is the perfect lake getaway. Whether you’re celebrating an occassion or just want to spend time with friends or family, there’s room to be comfortable here. Situated on an open cove but not on rough "big water", you will be thrilled you found Happy Ours.

This beautiful home has bedrooms and bathrooms on three different levels, which offers privacy to your group. The main living area has a vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors, and lots of natural light from the wall of windows that overlook the trees and the lake. There are also three separate decks, two of which are covered, and one has an outdoor kitchen and a fire pit.

Down at the lake you have full access to the large private dock with an upper sun deck and plenty of room for swimming, fishing, and just hanging out on the water. You are welcome to bring your own boat and leave it in one of the two slips.

The house is in a great location, just a short drive to downtown Gainesville and Lake Lanier Islands. If you’re in the mood to shop, you can visit the North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville. And there are lots of great restaurants in the area.

We loved the spaciousness of this home. It easily accommodated 7 adults and 5 little kids. Home was also very kid friendly. Kitchen is well equipped, even with a double oven. The lakeview is so pretty from the LR and adjacent balcony. It would be even better in the summer but we came in 40 degree weather for a family event so we couldnt really enjoy the outdoor amenities.

What a beautiful & serene setting! This house is situated on the lake with woods all around. The home itself creates a feeling of coziness although it is very large and can sleep up to 15 depending on just how cozy you want to be. It is immaculate & has a nice, well stocked kitchen. There’s not much that you need that’s not there. The bed we slept in was extremely comfortable & our family stated their beds were comfy as well. The host (Joni) was extremely friendly, easy to communicate with/timely responses & saw to it that our needs were met. We look forward to returning to this beautiful, well appointed home.

House was immaculate when we walked in and was well stocked with all the pots, pans, beach towels, that you would need. Plenty of space to move around and excellent for entertaining with four different dining areas inside and out. We had fun at the dock and one person even caught a catfish. We didn’t need all of the bedrooms, so I turned the bunk room into a yoga space! The office was perfect for my son-in-law who had to work on Friday. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is amazing. Loved everything about it. Owner is responsive and very helpful. We had two teens, a toddler under 3 and then 5 adults. Our toddler slept in a pack n play in the walk in master closet. Plenty of room, worked perfectly. I would recommend a wagon or 2 to tote stuff down to the dock. It’s not far, but there is a steep hill (that is paved) as you walk back. Dock is very shady underneath and the ladder makes it easy to get out of the water. We will definitely rent again.

We brought our kids and grands down for a week on the lake. This house was everything we needed it to be. There is nothing you need ( and if you do the store is only 5 minutes away). There is lots of space indoors and out. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at the lake house! Plenty of room, nice kitchen, great patio and fire pit, loved the covered deck for coffee in the mornings. Owner was amazing with communication. We had a couple of issues which were addressed right away. We loved the property but would have loved to see more of the lake from the house. We also unexpectedly had someone on crutches and the trip down to the dock was steep and further than we thought. Just something to keep in mind. The dock was great. We rented a boat and docked it and fished from there as well. The lake was awesome. We ventured out each day and found a small beach in different areas of the lake and enjoyed lounging and exploring the water. The lake where the house is located is perfect for swimming, boating, jetskiing. It’s a quieter area than the main part of the lake. Much more relaxed and enjoyable. We took the boat to Pelican Pete’s for dinner one night and ice cream for a couple of other nights. Anything you might need is not far from the house
 Walmart, Publix, Home Depot and restaurants. Even Pelican Pete’s wasn’t far to drive from the house. Thank you Joni for a great week.

Spacious Lake Home

This house is perfect for extended family and friends to enjoy the lake. Dock was great in a calm inlet. Bedrooms and living areas provided enough area for everyone to spread out or be together. Would definitely book again!

we had family and friends in for graduation of my son. the property was beautiful, very private.we just hung out, spent time by the fire, on the dock and relaxing on the porches. we did not really go out anywhere, cooked all meals on the property which was nice. i would rent this location again. john

Our extended family rented all three of Joni’s houses which were adjacent. The wedding was at The Oakley nearby. The amenities were amazing and had everything we needed! Highly recommend! Very clean and comfortable! Would rent again.

DON'T PASS UP THIS OPPORTUNITY.

Not only is this home outstanding with beautiful morning scenery, the home owner Joni is as well. She kept perfect communication, even answered the phone at 11pm to accommodate me extending our stay. I travel for a living and have been to countless rentals, this here has been by far the best. If your looking for a good private spot on the lake, stop looking and hit book now. Property was fine, Joni came over and fixed the TV problem quickly. Kitchen was stocked but low inventory of paper towels, trash bags, no bar soap at all and Blankets. We went to store and bought things we needed. But be aware to take all these things. Grill needed some attention for sure.

Perfect house for a girl's weekend getaway

This was a great location for our girl's weekend getaway to celebrate a friend. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 10 ladies comfortably. The house has a great setup and there wasn't anything we needed outside of the suggested things to bring. Joni was great to work with and easily accessible to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Great location and very clean

This is a great location on the lake because it's not on the main thoroughfare. Businesses and restaurants are not far away. The house is very clean and has the kitchen dishes and cookware you would need. Part of the walk to the lake is quite steep, but it is well maintained. Just be aware. The houses nearby were quiet making it a peaceful getaway. We had a great visit!

A propriedade é muito boa, porém como ela estå em uma årea de relevo íngreme e possui 3 pavimentos e muitas rampas e escadas, aperesentou algumas dificuldades para o nosso grupo, oferecendo risco de queda para os idosos e crianças do nosso grupo. Amazing location

We stayed with our family of 12 and the property was absolutely perfect. The bedroom layout works perfect for multiple adult couples, or for parents with older children. The basement is super cozy and comfortable and allows plenty of room for playing games or watching a movie together. The dock at the lake was perfect and in a perfect location on the lake!
