I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights. Some things we loved were: the spacious rooms. Our room included a sitting area with sofa, desk and then a separated bed area. The TV was thoughtfully placed where it was viewable from all areas of the room, including the bathroom. We also loved how quiet it was. We barely heard a peep the entire time we were there. The staff was great and we appreciated the fridge, microwave, and toiletries. Bed was super comfy, great linens and 4 nice large pillows! Also loved that the smart TV had Netflix available. The breakfast buffet was the star of the stay! We got there pretty early and everything was fresh and delicious! Some things we didn't love: We specifically booked this hotel for use of the hot tub, but found that it was luke warm, and pretty dirty, completely unusable. This was really disappointing. The room that held the toilet and shower was tiny! And impossible to open or close the door when seated on the toilet. Very awkward, especially for my 6'2 husband. *Some.towels in the pool area would be nice. Overall the room was nice for the price and id probably stay here again, but really hope they get the hot tub functioning soon, because that would be my only reason for not staying here in the future.

a week stay

We stayed at the Best Western Gaeway for a week. We had two children with us. We were there weekend and weekdays. Here's my honest and detailed review. The location is really nice , its tucked away and its not to busy in that area. The hotel is spacious . The decor and lobby are very nice and welcoming. The night desk man is very nice and welcoming!!! The house keeping staff ladies are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. They do have a worker who does made to order omelet. The breakfast is limited options and its the same everyday, there is also no fruit. They always have 2 staff working breakfast most are quiet and nice. The one weekday lady who seems to be the main lady has little patience and a temper. She was told about a waffle batter spill and yelled and became very unwelcoming to eveeyone !! She made us feel very uncomfortable and afraid to ask any questions. The outdoor area is very nice,lots of seating, sun, shade. The hotter is hot! The pool is heated perfectly. The fencing around the area could use a good pressure washing but otherwise its beautiful. The fitness center location is a little odd especially for a female alone working out at night but the equipment is pretty standard and in working order. The rooms- they're clean, they lack a good deep cleaning. The sinks etc have hard water and soap scum all over but otherwise its clean and a pretty standard room. Some fridges have a small frezer and some dont. rooms are outdated with hard beds

My husband and I loved the pool and hot tub! We really liked the breakfast options. The omelet bar was really neat, wish they had more options to add on the omelet. He did kind of burn our omelets, but we still ate them. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but the room is spacious. We were able to do our laundry there as well. $4 for washer and dryer.

On 7-5-25 we went for coffee. There was somebody talking loud gossip, dancing & singing in breakfast area. A young female employee. Same girl that stood behind me as I topped my kids waffle , asked another employee that was with her, why do we have to clean up after these people now ? She continued to say they are just gonna keep messing it up. Why can't we do it at the end? In a rude loud way for guest to feel uncomfortable. Unprofessional. This is a quiet area. We go for the scenic views and peaceful springs in the area. This girl clearly has no hospitality training, manners or respect. Maid staff left little black curley hairs all over the tub, sink , toilett and somehow on my baby's sippy cup in mini refrigerator. Disgusting. Giant red ant in the bathroom. Our light bulb in bathroom was burnt out for 1 day however the kind gentleman who were very nice fixed it immediately. The front desk staff was helpful & clearly was trained in the hospitality field. They were professional & respectful.Food was okay.They did have a omelet station made fresh, waffles and much more.The pool look nice though we never used it.The room Was nice and cold .Overall I would have rated higher if that one unprofessional girl did her job quietly without complaining in front of guests.Also if my room wasn't filled with hairs.My kids found someone's medication under bed which shows the rooms are cleaned quickly but not thoroughly.I will NOT bring my family to this hotel again for those reasons

Our 4 of July family time .

Family time for the 3 days we had a great time . Help us as needed it bigger room , breakfast time was good . The only thing was young men who cookies the eggs omelette in the morning act race to my husband when my husband ask him for eggs , & when the next person came to him at the some time my husband just asked him for his eggs to be done , will do the others & not my husband this is the only downfall I hope he can do better in this area we love All people we don’t look or act do to color we bleed the same blood is Red . Other then that the hotel was great for the time we stayed in we are very grateful for all who took care of Us , we will came again.
