We liked that the property is conveniently located close to the downtown area. It is a beautiful old house turned into a B&B. The only downside was that we had a heck of a time trying to find a thermostat to control the air in the room (the Camellia Room). When I called maintenance they informed me the thermostat was in the Business Center right outside of the room. The problem with this is that there is a sign saying you can use the Business Center "anytime". Even though it didn't happen that means someone could be outside of Room 10 (Camellia Room) at any time of the day or night. They need to post hours so whoever is in Room 10 can get some sleep during the night if push comes to shove. Like I said, it didn't happen, but the potential is there.

Beautiful
Attention at breakfast could have been better as clean dishes ran out, silverware ran out and some food ran out. Fireplace in our room didn’t work and wasn’t fixed.

Victorian Charm in a college town
It was a lovely stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were accommodated for. We loved the Victorian Charm of the place. It was like staying at my grandmother’s home. Would definitely stay again.

Kinda disapointed
Well to start with we had a rather confusing self check in as there was no one there after 5. We we found our room we found it had not been cleaned from previous guest. We called the owner and we were given another room. The TV did not work in that room and they sent someone to fix lt.We also had problems with the shower as it was difficult to operate and there was no instructions. The breakfast was not as special as we had hoped from the review's and was pretty ordinary and not your typical B+B toaster waffles and stuff

We’ve stayed here several times, the staff is always friendly, beds are super comfy and coffee and snacks always available. Convenient to downtown. Feels like being at home. So much nicer than a hotel.
