Our stay was overall wonderful! The house was exactly like the description stated. There was even a Christmas tree to make our stay even more festive! Easy walking distance to the downtown area and we felt very safe walking there, even at night.

We had the best experience!!! The house was in an excellent location and was very clean. There was a little deck area in the back. Staying here made our weekend so much better. We usually stay at a hotel, but now we could really enjoy Halloween weekend without a hassle.

The house was very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The host was very responsive to questions and checked to make sure we had everything after we checked in. Great location in Galena to all the attractions we were there to visit. Would definitely stay in the house again.

Location was excellent! No car needed for downtown! House had everything you need. Lots of dishes pots and pans although we didn’t need them. We ate out for our meals and plenty of places to choose from! Lots of nice towels, washcloths and blankets! Deb was gracious host and check in was super easy! She even helped with ideas for places to visit. We had a great time and would highly recommend her place.

Convenient, great location

Deb was an excellent hostess, helpful and quick to answer questions. The location was absolutely great to walk downtown and come back to thoughout the day. Nice to have the two parking spots, although a little difficult to maneuver in and out of. The home itself while very clean and well kept was old and the decor out dated, but again fit the Galena atmosphere. Overall a very nice stay and met all out needs.

Great Location

Great location, easy access to downtown. Spacious home,well stocked with everything you needed.The problems we encountered were the front door did nothave a secure lock, this made us feel uncomfortable. Also,the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm... the upper level air conditioning was not working in the bedrooms.

Adorable house great location

The house has very cozy and in walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. Owner is very quick to respond to any questions and when I told her I was coming to town to spend Christmas with my daughter she very thoughtfully had a tree up and decorated in the house I highly recommend this property

We had 8 in our group of an all-girl 3 generation family annual Xmas trip during the luminary's weekend. The house was so close to Main Street, we were able to walk downtown. Because of this, we were able to come and go as needed as there were different agendas with a large group. Lovely house with plenty of room and comfortable beds There was a large table to accommodate all of us to eat together and play cards. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for meals. Prompt response from host when needed.
