Long weekend and The Galvestonian

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived and I could tell this was a well-run operation. The efficient and professional woman at the front desk quickly gave us our keys, wristbands, a list of do's and dont's and we were off to the elevators.Room 1106 was clean and tastefully appointed with two TV's and the usual kitchen appliances. There was even a small dishwasher - no soap however. The condo obviously has been kept updated with cabinets, a very nice stereo/AV system, and comfortable furniture and bed.We were only driving 20 miles for a long weekend "staycation" with family and friends in Galveston and this made an excellent home base. I highly recommend 1106 and will stay here again when the opportunity arises.

We loved the little extra room and the side balcony was so much roomier than the front balconies in in the condos we have stayed in before at the Galvestonian. Definitely plan on booking this condo again!
