Welcome to our Sunset Hideaway, a recently renovated 1,717 sq. ft. condo with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms at the luxurious beach community of Pointe West. Ideal accommodations for 2- 9 guests including 2 furnished balconies to watch the sun rise and the breathtaking nightly sunsets.

Located on the tranquil West End of Galveston Island, the community offers both beach and bay views as well as amenities like no other on the island. During your stay at Sunset Hideaway you will have access to the expansive and meticulously maintained private beach, fishing piers, 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, fire pits, workout facility, gameroom, onsite seasonal restaurant/bar and boutique and much more. Plus, Galveston attractions like the Seawall, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, The Strand area, restaurants, and more are just a short 30 mins away and make for an even more memorable vacation at Sunset Hideaway.

Accommodations
Open, bright, and clean with all new upscale furnishings, paint and flooring throughout. Sunset Hideaway welcomes you with a nautical New England coast decor.

Spacious living area complete with 55” flat screen smart TV, comfortable sectional sofa and three chairs. Plus, a cabinet filled with classic board games, cards, poker, checkers, etc. for your enjoyment.
The complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi in case you need to work while you play on your beach vacation.

Fully equipped kitchen with new stainless range/stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, granite counters, and plenty of storage including a full-size pantry. Most small appliances such as a blender, coffee maker, waffle maker, electric griddle, crockpot, toaster oven, and more.

Dining table with seating for 8 is open to living area and kitchen.

A nook off kitchen has a modern queen couch. The mattress expands on this sleeper after opening with air for added comfort. The door in this nook has access to a balcony with seating to watch the sunrise while enjoying your morning coffee or tea and listening to the waves.

Outdoor dining at its finest with seating for 8 on the large patio while overlooking the fabulous nightly Sunsets, Lazy River pool, and Bay. Additional grills and seating are just steps away at the pool area below.

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Weelend getaway

Staying here was absolutely amazing. The views, price, and amenities were spot on. The only minor issue i saw is there are some repairs that need to be made to the unit. Drawers not closing right or their facing coming off. Water knobs sat weird or were difficult to adjust temperature. Other than that this place is awesome.

Very clean and pleasant, and will come back again. Owner has done a very good job with decor and keep place hospitable.Only thing to be aware is there is 25 fee per stay per pereon to use some eminities offered. This include heated pool pool ubcommnunity at club house

Great Place!

We enjoyed our stay and the condo had everything we needed for our family with teenagers. Communication was great and they let us check out a couple hours later to enjoy the morning on the beach. We only stayed a couple of nights, but the condo has everything you need if you want to be there several days. We loved the location to the pool.

Very enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We are returning guests to the Sunset Hideaway because we enjoyed this location so much. The sunsets are magical, the condo is very comfortable and accommodating and the drive-on beaches nearby are such fun. The balcony overlooks the bayside pool where we spent many hours. We enjoyed coffee breaks and many meals on the patio. The property managers are very responsive and attentive. Our family will be back next year. Highly recommend!

Simply the Best

We love Pointe West! This property is perfect for anyone who enjoys just hangin out together. Sitting together around the large table on the balcony, bbq and games just outside the condo by the pool area, playing in the pool just steps from the condo, game time in the living space, and puzzles in the dining room are some of the activities you'll find here. It's an easy drive or walk to the beach, which is great for all ages to enjoy. We had a couple of delays on arrival time and the property managers were so nice and bent over backward to help us. I can't say enough nice things about them. I highly recommend this property.

Quite retreat!

Beautiful property. A distance from the roar of Galveston but I’m not walking so it turned out to be a good thing. Gulf close by and a pool out the back door! A little piece of heaven on earth!

Beautiful Property

Good location, nice place.. Four issues that should be corrected. 1. Elevator didnt work at any time during our stay. Not acceptable on 4 floor condo. 2. We hope the silverfish didnt come home with us. 3. The master closet and entry coat closets were both locked, so we had no place to hang our clothes. 4. Soap, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in showers were all empty.

Annual Mothers & Daughters Trip

We came in from Arkansas, Louisiana and North Houston for this annual trip and we’re so happy we chose this condo. Mary Alice was very responsive every step of the way and any questions we had were answered and addressed immediately. The property is well appointed, well maintained and very comfortable. Would definitely love to return!
