The Space:
Ready to vacation at a Beachfront Paradise? This Best of the West top floor condo at Pointe West has the top view of the best beach in Galveston! Just steps from the dune walkover and a skip to the Beach Club! Brand New Elevators were installed Dec 2023.

Perfect for a family of 4, with queen size bed in the master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and queen size bed in 2nd bedroom. TV's in every room. Fully equipped modern kitchen, washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. Bring the family, bring the wine, bring your camera! Come experience what paradise is all about at the Beachfront Paradise!

FOR FAMILIES & LARGE GROUPS - If you need more than one condo in order to accommodate your group this is a perfect spot. Best of the West has another condo available right next door, Bright Side, 3/3, VRBO #800894.

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food, and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things even easier, a luggage cart to help you pack & unpack from your car!

Guest Access:
You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.

The Neighborhood:
Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. 

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.

(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:
You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.

Other Things to Note:
**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**

Paradise Indeed

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back again. The balcony was our favorite spot as we spent many a morning and night relaxing with our coffee, the sea breeze and a good book. We cooked dinner every night and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Best place we’ve stayed in Galveston, hands down. Can’t beat the location and the view!!!

Exceptional gem

Condo was exceptionally clean and well decorated. James is a wonderful, communicative host, (gorgeous flowers, thank you for taking care of my extra request) You can tell the condo is well loved by the live plants on the balcony. View was phenomenal! It was a bad time of year for the mosquitoes but when they mowed the walkway, about mid week, it got a lot better. We swam and watched dolphins right from the beach in front of the condo. Very quiet time of year. This was our favorite place so far. Loved it!! (As a side note, we did not find the master bed as comfortable as many of the reviews said it was :( and we did not have any issues with the elevator)

Peace and Quiet

Our stay was comfortable, clean and equipped with all you need. We walked the beach without all the crowds and rode bikes around the area. We had a wonderful relaxing stay enjoying the sunrise and sunset. I would suggest a 2 or 3 quart sauce pan would be helpful. Thank you for the great experience.

Best in Galveston!

Awesome property and super clean unit which is nicely updated. We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony, seeing the hummingbirds stop by every day. The beach is nice and clean, we saw them go by every morning to clean it up. The pools on the property are also nice and clean. My only recommendation would be to have wrist bands you can take on and off. It was a bit annoying having to wear it for a week. Thank you James for great communication and all the help. We will definitely be back!

Everything was excellent except I was trapped in the elevator twice during my stay. The property was on the third floor so stairs were out of the question. Elevator needs to be fixed, rprplaced or better maintained. Property Manager blamed HOA which is also unacceptable

Worth the Drive!

We have been to Galveston so many times though the years but West Beach, this condo, it was so different than other beaches in Galvestion. The resort itself is nice. The pool was refreshing. Yes, lots of kiddos but the pool is big enough that there is room for everyone. The condo was front and center of the beautiful coastline. The haul to the beach is a walk but once you are there it is so nice. Way more white powdery sand and clean. I love the green area between the condo and the water. It is nice to hear the wildlife and the waves. The condo is well appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable. Closet space was so nice! Please of room to store you beach chairs, floats and cooler. We did find out that you can pay someone to set up a tent and chairs for you each day. I would recommend calling in advance of your trip to reserve as they stay booked at the height of summer. James was very responsive and helpful. A great trip at a beautiful location.

Point West Stay

The property was just what we needed. It was clean and the furnishings were excellent. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equiped. Loved the deck, the view and the privacy. Just a couple of suggestions. We loved the Beach Club. But the music was rather annoying in the evening when I would rather be listening to the surf. My husband had a couple of suggestions. It would be nice to have some lamps in the living room instead of the harsh overhead lighting. Safety rail in the shower of the Master bath. Hooks in both bathrooms to hang towels and clothing. Other than that, wonderful accomodations! We will return!

The commission with property owner was great. The property was superficially clean noticed very dirty floors on arrival when cleaning up dropped ice. The front office was not the most pleasant to deal with but thankfully it was a short interaction. There are no restaurants or adequate shopping within 15 to 20 minutes of the property. So the beach was very nice and not overcrowded. I would return for a much longer stay with the knowledge of restaurant availability being slim.

Beautiful condo - very comfortably decorated living room and bedrooms; kitchen well stocked with all conveniences (we cooked and ate in several times at dining table for four) - our favorite spot was the balcony sitting on a rocking chair watching the waves and hummingbirds - highly recommend this condo in Pointe West

Wonderful condo

This condo was just as pictured. Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and had all the amenities you would need, including beach towels. Furniture on the balcony comfy and nice to have option of a tall table and chairs to eat meals out there. Beds were also comfortable. Hand soap at every sink, kitchen cleaners, extra bags for trash can. Super handy parking, elevator to 3rd floor to condo door, check-in was easy. Beach Club huge plus in nice, warm weather. Quiet end of the island, but found plenty of places to eat. Truly delightful week.

Loved this condo and location!

Nice condo with a great location. Even though it rained Friday night and Saturday was cooler than expected I enjoyed the balcony and the beach view we had. Condo had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. James is such a great host and so easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again!

AMAZING Location, Views of the Ocean & Amenities

We had the most amazing time here! Everything was top notch. Communication, check-in, location, amenities were all outstanding. Condo was very comfortable & roomy. Everything we could have asked for was provided. James @ Best of the West was extremely easy to work with making sure we had all the check-in information. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony & taking in the sounds of the ocean. BEST location ever! We will definitely be back!
