This property was booked and paid for at least a week in advance. I reached out to the host for further information regarding access to the property with no response. I reached out again letting them know we were on our way and still needed information. The host never responded. Upon arrival I called Vrbo customer service who contacted the host and then informed us the property was not available so our booking was cancelled. We were stuck in Galveston on a Friday night with small children and no where to stay. Thankfully Vrbo refunded our money and we were able to secure another location. I do not recommend this property or host as their lack of response and disregard for our family shows severe lack of integrity, character, and honesty. A simple effort of communication in advance could have avoided this entire situation. I’d give no stars if possible.
